Gated mini-farm on 17+ acres. Rolling hills, treed pastures, lots of wildflowers when in season. Often have horses roaming the site. When I’m home, I’m often willing to teach people about the garden, the farm, horses, tractors, but please limit any interactions to 30 minutes as I’ve had several back surgeries and can’t sit/stand to chat without a lot of pain 💓. I’ve surprisingly had a lot of guests really enjoy learning farm chores and want to help participate 💗 Location is very private and peaceful. 💗. Leave all gates as you found them. Only walk in pastures not occupied by horses please. I often have fresh fruit, veggies, and/or eggs for purchase (I usually donate to the food pantry). Suggested Local Attractions:Nearby: Fishing, kayaking, hiking, Fort Worth, Dallas. FYI - I am doing some construction, it may also be noisy with tractors and augers going. There will be a new greenhouse/hoophouse to explore 96x30 ft 💗💓

House Rules
No pets for the safety of the barn animals. Please keep any gates as you found them. Also, rules around the horses generally change depending on who is boarding here, please ask me before engaging with any horse owners. It’s NEVER ok to feed the horses anything without owner present as some have strict dietary restrictions. Some horse owners will allow horses to be pet, others won’t. Do not enter barn or any pen/pasture with animals in it without express permission. Do not enter white gates into owners yard. Please DO NOT BRING CHILDREN UNLESS you know they will listen to and follow any rules regarding horses and can safely be around horses of various demeanors. Horses typically roam freely on the property in one of 3 pastures. NEVER approach a horse from their behind. Texas often has fire restrictions. Please be cognizant that this is a farm in Texas, there are lots of creepy crawlies, explore at own risk. Texas has abundant scorpions, fire ants, rodents, spiders, pests, and venomous snakes. Watch your footing carefully, especially in high grass.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Need high bottom clearance, there may be overhanging trees and the entry onto property causes some people anxiety. Best to enter driveway FROM NORTH headed south for better turn angle (there are two easy places just to north of me to turn around in order to head South). I have regularly gotten a 30 ft Airstream and a huge moving semi truck on the property no problems but new drivers have demolished my gate and mailbox multiple times 🤦♀️ before so PLEASE if you aren’t comfortable yet with your driving level, chose an easier location. 💗 Tow Vehicle Parking Details: turn around near barn and park on left side of barn near trees.

Picking up a new RV in 2023! So excited! I’ve camped in toy haulers, horse trailers, truck campers, airstreams! With my messed up back no more tent camping for me! My goal is to visit all of the National Parks over the next few years. Cheers!

Nice little place to stay at. She is under construction and remodel so she does not have it open full time now. She even help me at as with a problem that I had. Even had some eggs to sell. Would stay here again if possible. Danny

Nice little farm we stayed at. The host was very nice and welcoming! We were able to taste fresh eggs and the kids even learned how to ride the tractor. Great experience! Thank you!
