We are located on a quiet winding paved country road that follows a creek on one side. We are about 20 minutes from the 71/35 junction. You can pull into our driveway but will need to back up a short distance to the camping spot. Across the road from us is state fishing access to the creek and I'm told it's one of the best fishing spots in the county. However, I'm not a fisherman so don't take my word for it. While we do not have utilities or a dump available, there is a dump station in town at the local fairgrounds a few minutes away for a small fee. Our camping spot is just in the grass yard so if it is too muddy it will be unavailable. Our property is pretty private (we can't see any other houses from our house) so it is a pretty peaceful setting. It also gets really dark at night. We have a few acres and have some trails in the woods if you want to unwind a bit. There is also a small waterfall across the road (assuming there is water running in the stream) that very few people know about.

Location
Our spot is just in the grass yard. You can pull into the driveway but will need to turn around and back into the spot. The camping spot is plenty big but turning around may be tougher with larger rigs. We routinely turn our 25 ft trailer around with no issues though.

Lonnie is an engineering manager at a lower limb prosthetics manufacturer. He's fairly handy and likes making modifications and improvements to our camper. He's originally from PA but attended university here in OH and never left. He used to travel quite a bit for work but doesn't need to as much any more. He's been to 49 of the 50 states and loves national parks. Mandy works at a local university in accreditation and assessment. She's originally from IL but ended up here in OH as well. She's the musically talented one of the family and volunteer teaches violin in the mornings at the kids school. We have 2 girls that love to be outside and ride their 4-wheelers on our property. We also have a Bernese Mountain dog named Turbo but he's not well behaved enough to camp with us yet.

We had a very peaceful stop here. Lonnie and his family are offering a great option for travelers! Their place is beautiful, quite, has wildlife, and trails. We appreciate the opportunity to stay on their property. Our dog Jack had a great visit and loved his gift from their sweet daughter!

I arrived mid afternoon and before i could get parked i see a you g man headed towards me. Lonnie was very pleasant and was available for anythjng I may need. It was the best sleep I received in a long time. i asked Lonnie if there was a specific time i needed to leave in the mornjng as I had a short drive the next day and wanted to have an easy laid back morning. He said no problem told me what time everyone left. i would definitely stay there again!

Lonnie was very quick to approve our same day request for a stay and followed up with a text message almost immediately. He greeted us on arrival even though we had to get in late and helped us get parked and settled. The property is absolutely beautiful, like staying at a state park. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the stay but we had to get on the road. We would absolutely stay again!
