Was a small homestead. But most of the property has been sold and now we maintain 12 acres and a pond. We have several spots to choose from with a slight downhill grade. Only two with 30 Amp hookups but if self-contained we can handle several. Suggested Local Attractions: The Masters and local golf. Fort Gordon and the Cyber Center. The Augusta Canal with Peterburg boats, old textile mills, minor league baseball (Augusta Green Jackets), several medical centers, downtown arts and craft stores, entertainment venues, disc golf, kayaking and boat racing on the Savanah River. Also we have several parks and hiking trails plus Clark Hill Lake for fishing and boating activities which is only a 20 mile drive. The best feature is that we have a quiet and secluded location but still close to the main urban activities.

The host was very helpful. Plenty of room for large rigs. They had a 30 amp hook up and water. If in the area again, I would definitely stay at Lookout Acres.

Love it! Close to everything yet super quiet. The property is maintained beautifully. Car would not start in the morning...even had the host come out and jump my car. Very accommodating. I only wish the GPS numbers would be published. Would make finding LO so much easier to find.

Nice if you need electric/water for $10 for a quick overnight stay. Downside is there are a lot of barking dogs close by.....host was very accommodating.
