Laid back hippie girl with a chicken farm living in my RV:) Details: Moved to rural Alabama from Chicago. It was the best decision I've made. It's beautiful here! Bought a brand new house. One year later decided I didn't need that and created a campground in my back yard. We now have 4 RVs back there that we live in full time. I have about 50 chickens and 3 sweet dogs. Pretty laid back and refuse to conform to society's standards. Every day is a vacation and a blessing! Love being outdoors and love rv living. I will NEVER go back to sticks n bricks:) Home Town: Russellville Alabama Favorite Boondocking Locations: Haven't been yet! Skills or Expertise to Share: Have renovated quite a few RVs and built 2 food trucks from scratch. I've owned several of my own businesses and I love working with my hands.

The hosts were super-friendly and we had a great time chatting with them. Probably best for smaller rigs like our van.

Our hosts were very warm & welcoming when we arrived. We have a 18' van and going through the double gate into their parking area was easy. We filled up some water containers, took a hot shower and later hung out with our hosts listening to music. The next day we went walking over at the Lost Creek. We really had a fun visit with our host.

They were not only great hosts but also live in a very beautiful place. If you just need a little peace and chill a bit, it‘s the perfect place. But there‘s also things to do. They took us to a very beautiful spot at the lake and we spend an evening playing a card game „turnament“. Very great time and hosts. Thank you. They also have hook up and everything you need and ask for.

We were the first Boondockers Welcome guests at Lost Creek. It was also our first time in Alabama and our hosts made us feel comfortable and welcome. Although it’s a bit off the beaten path, it’s well worth the effort if you are adventurous and love meeting interesting people. There are chickens, dogs, and cats to hang around with and they are well cared for and loved. We had such a great time sitting around the campfire listening to music and eating that we extended our stay an additional day. We hope we get the opportunity to host them at our Florida BW site sometime. 😻
