We have not hosted 100 RVs and happy to have you spend the night or a few days to visit the area. We are 5 miles off interstate 20 near Weatherford, TX. We are about 30 minutes from downtown Ft Worth. We can put you in an area all by yourself that is not fenced . Room for a lot of rvs You will see the big grey shop building and you can park anywhere in that area. There is a couple of acres there. Our house is next to the BIG GREY shop and since we just put an rv cover up on the east side of the shop no longer really room to get another rv in that way. Parking on the west side there is a lot of room and privacy. All cell service is available here. Suggested Local Attractions: We have all the shopping you could need within 15 minutes. Target, HEB grocery, 2 Walmarts, propane multiple places, all kinds of restaurants, Ross, Tj Max, JCPenny, Belks, Tuesday Mornings, Academy, Hobby Lobby, liquor stores. Logans Steakhouse, chicken express, MC D, Olive Garden, lots of Mexican food and BBQ and so much more. We have 2 discount tires and a local tire shop called Ernies. With permission you can send Amazon to the house. Ft Worth has the botanical gardens and Billy Bobs and the stockyards as the main attractions. You can find water parks all over Ft Worth and 6 flags in Arlington. THE ONLY NEGATIVE FROM BW: Guests are restricted to a maximum of 5 nights in a 90-day window with the same host, for insurance purposes. This can be one 5-night stay, if the host offers that many nights, or several shorter stays. Please ask about longer stays and don't assume you can just stay. BW only gives us 5 days insurance so limit is 5 days No hooks up now this is boondocking.

House Rules

We are sometimers so sometimes we are home and sometimes we are in our rv. We both work from home. Its super quiet out here at night and a great option rather than a Walmart parking lot. Weatherford will have all the shopping you will need. Generators ok any hour. Neighbors aren't close. Propane is available close by. Please pick up after your pets

Location

Access Road Conditions: When you get here just pull down in to the grassy area. We own the land from the house all the way to the corner. We are building inside the shop so please park away from it right now. There are a couple of empty acres to park on. The one on the corner has been leveled to build a house on and if you park toward the street you entered on you can get a pretty good view. You can park anywhere you want on the area from the corner to a bit away from the shop. We are off a paved road about 5 miles off interstate 20. You will park on grassy area but its hard soil. Rocky and sandy soil in this part of the country. (We are Off Highway 5 and I 20.) Best way in is off FM 5 because the road is new and smooth. TAKE Muir Road to the west or Right and we are a mile down by the big Grey Metal building. Once you see that building on our street, stop before you get in front of it and you will drive in the empty grassy area. Someone should be in the house or the metal building to help you. Text 817 456 9694.Diane. 817 834 7223 Phil We own the corner acre as well and a good spot for star watching since there is no light there. Hook ups are no longer available. 260 Pinnacle Circle. Take hwy 5 to MUIR RD not muir ranch rd You will take a right on Muir and then a left on Pinnacle. Its a circle and go left and we are all the property from corner to the house and grey shop. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: plenty of room We have room for tow hitched or unhitched. We have a couple of acres to park on . .Its wide open with no trees in the way. Full sun for solar. Rocky soil with grass Hard packed so we can take bigger heavy RVs no problem. Great stop over for heading east or west off I 20 so you can wait till traffic is easy through DFW metroplex too. We are about 25 minutes from Ft Worth. Call or text 817-456-9694 to let us know you are on your way.

Such a peaceful stop. All of the Bluebonnets & other Texas wildflowers were in full bloom just steps away from our front door were beautiful. Our dog was able to be off leash as long as we were out with him. There’s plenty of space. I would absolutely recommend the Lucky Dog.

We had the whole field on our own and the owners came talking to us. Very friendly people, if we are near arround we would definitely stay again! :-)

We had a nice 2-night stay at Lucky Dog. The parking is easy and mostly level. It's and easy 25 mile drive into Ft. Worth to see the sights. The second night we were there we met a lovely couple from Germany who were exploring our country. A great place to stay will definately be back if we come this way again.

Great place to stay, close to Fort Worth. Host met us when we got there and recommended location to park. She also came out to talk to as we were leaving. Dogs were able to get outside and be off leash.

Great communication and hospitality. the location is large enough to accommodate several rigs with privacy. Quiet location near shopping and Fort Worth. The Host was very accommodating when i had to have some parts delivered to repair my rig.
