I am located right off highway 56, in Overbrook ,KS, small lovely rual community. lots of places for antiqueing eating. no street lights. lg mural on building says, "Dont overlook Overbrook. We are on the Santa Fe Trail. 15 miles from Lawrence, KS , 6 lakes within 12 miles in all directions, great fishing! Topeka, capital of Kansas is 20 minutes away, museums, zoo, discovery center for children, Kansas City, is an hour and half a way! Hallmark is there! The Arabia, a paddle wheeler, sunk and discovered in a farmers field, the museum is amazing!! A must see! Reinacents of black jacks battle in Baldwin city, so much to do all within driving distance! Suggested Local Attractions:Kansa Museum, Airforce museum Kansas EXpo. Kansas Zoo, Topeka , 5 lakes for fishing and swimming and boating. one, 6 miles away , one ,10 mile away. Topeka is 25 miles, The capital of Kansas.

No barking dogs, love dogs, just well behaved, I have a fenced in back yard , where they can play! You can leave them while you visit surrounding area. I have a hot tub and gazebo at your disposal .

Living the dream! Details: I live in Overbrook, KS. I have a fenced in backyard, overlooking a meadow and lake. This is hilly farm land.,25 miles southeast of Topeka. Lots of great corp of engineering camping nearby! Great fishing! I have a drive way which can hold a rig and an outside hookup. I will be home all this year. leave a message when you come as I take my grand kids camping too. Home Town: Overbook, Ks. A sweet old fashion down home community! We have a swimming pool, walking park, with two ponds,! One for grown ups, one for kids. Propane is available in town. We have a brand new library. Internet, faxes and computers! Large print books, and movies to check out!! Two banks, a truck repair shop. Cattle auction on Mondays, and a grocery store. Quilt shop, and a new dollar general store there are 10 lakes within a15 mile radius. And 25 miles to Topeka. Our state capital, museum s and a zoo. Lawrance, Ks is17 miles away. Lots to see and do! Come on down! Favorite Boondocking Locations: mountains of NM. corp of engineers, at Pomona Lake, Melvern Lake ks. Canada Skills or Expertise to Share: I am a retired RN. I am a great cook. I oil paint , and sew.

lynn and leroy went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we need. nice quite neighborhood and 30A hookup, peaceful experience. this was our 1st BDW experience and it was wonderful! thank you!

We so enjoyed the nights we stayed at Lynn & Leroy's place. They had their hot tub ready for us after a long day of travel & invited us right in for conversation...such great hosts!

Hosts were very enjoyable to visit with. Even offered their hot tub for our use. Hooked up electric service they had available. Beautiful home and view in back. We really liked staying there for the night.
