Our site is quiet and out of the way. The view out your window to the west is spectacular. You can see Vancouver Island on a clear day. The most level spot to park would be by backing directly up to our shop door or towards the fence. Standard 120 volt 15 amp outlet is available. 220 volt power is available from a NEMA 6-50 type plug in the shop if you can adapt from that. Household potable water is available from a faucet on the house which is about 100 feet away from your parking spot. We are a homestead so we have chickens and a rooster who crows occasionally. From late spring to fall we have cows in the pasture. You may be fortunate enough to see deer grazing in the pasture or peacocks visiting our property. We don't require this, but if you are interested, we sell eggs for $5/dozen. Suggested Local Attractions:10 minutes from the Canadian border. Less than an hour to the Mount Baker recreation area. 45 minutes to Birch Bay.

Location
Access Road Conditions: We have a short driveway that is a little bit steep at the start. We've had a 28 foot trailer come up our driveway and the back bumper had wheels under it that just lightly contacted the ground. If you have a long trailer with a lot of distance between the axle and the back bumper, you may have to enter the driveway at a bit of an angle instead of straight on to make sure you don't bottom out your bumper. Approximately 13 1/2 foot height limit to fit you under a power line going across the driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Tow vehicle can be parked near RV.

We know a bit about raising chickens and beef cows. We have traveled to several countries to do humanitarian relief work. We stayed at Maoz Homestead over a year ago, and I neglected to leave a review. My bad! The hosts were wonderful and I hank them so much for their great hospitality! We sure enjoyed our stay, and the wonderful view. The chicks were enchanting. They went beyond being great hosts. My brake controller was malfunctioning and Mark went out of his way to help me trouble shoot the problem, and THEN drove me into town to buy a new brake controller! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!

This was our first boobdocking experience & it was a success. Our hosts kindly greeted us for a fairly late arrival & then helped us get set up with power in the rain. After a cozy, quiet night, we bought fresh eggs in the morning & enjoyed the view.

The view from this spot is amazing. We arrived right at sunset. Gorgeous. In the morning I had fun playing with the kittens there.
