We will definitely be back again. We love Eastern Tennessee and BW hosts in the area are wonderful. We arrived right before the tornado outbreak hit the south. We were headed west to middle Tennessee but were concerned about driving into the system. So, we decided Knoxville would be the safest place to stay until it passed. When we arrived, they greeted us to make sure we were taken care of and to show us their amenities. Hill is a bit steep but we have a huge engine so it wasn't a big deal for us. We have a 26' Class C. The covered space was very easy to back into, just fold your mirrors in first. It was super quiet and their property is gorgeous. Marilyn was wonderful with communications any time I had a question, which followed the next morning. The next morning, the system still hadn't hit so we asked if she knew of a place close by where we could take shelter. She was so precious and said no one had booked and we were welcome to stay an extra day. Neither of us are the types who like to impose. But, when we saw the system was strengthening, we decided to take them up on their offer. I don't know what would have happened if we would have left that day. They may have saved our lives, as wel all know, the outbreak was devastating. Their property is neatly tucked into a hillside so when the storms went through, we felt confident we were safe from the high winds and tornadoes, and that's how it turned out. Some wind but being under the shelter and next to their garage, it sheltered us well. Eternally grateful. Looking forward to seeing them on our way back to the east coast later this year and hopefully in much better weather conditions. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you both so much.

Request to stay was accepted within a few mins and on the same day as the stay. Which is great. Wish more hosts would do same day requests - but this was perfect. A lovely area with plenty of hiking. Their place is quiet and private. Would love to stay there again next time passing through. Thank you 10/10

10/6/2022 fun campfire visit by CelNArt of San Diego. Try NOT to arrive during rush hour Knoxville traffic! 10 minutes from I40 on tight residential roads. 1/8 mile STEEP drive to a large concrete parking at the top. Marilyn and Brad had an awesome campfire where we shared stories. I made friends with Marley (large white dog) and Tippy (small dog). Very quiet except for acorns dropping! Set up under camper port with Water, Sewer and Electricity. Great camp experience.

“There are no shortcuts to a place worth going” -Beverly Sills. Once you get to the top there’s all kinds of room! And the company- outstanding. Thanks to our hosts for having a chat and sharing anecdotes (Berkey 😀). All in all another safe and comfortable stay with folks we’d love to meet out on the road. Give a holler when you’re in FL!
