Hideaway Haven is a 50 acre farm in the Figsboro community in Henry County, VA. We have ponds for fishing, a beautiful creek, and access to miles of hiking trails. We are pet friendly, children are welcome to play in our play area, and free wi-fi is available. Guests are welcome to top off their water and connect to 20-amp or 30-amp power at no charge. Bradley Drive is a gravel road. Go down the road until you pass four homes on your right, and when the road bears to the right, our driveway is on the left. You'll see a sign that says "Merry Christmas" on the left, you'll see our gray barns and house at the bottom, and our horse barn on the left. Please call when you are about an hour from arriving so we can put the horses in their paddock and one of us will try to meet you at the gate. We can accommodate travel trailers up to about 26', class B vans, and light-weight class C rigs. We do not have enough room for a class A. IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE: IF YOU PLAN TO DRIVE THROUGH MARTINSVILLE CITY, DO NOT TAKE BRIDGE STREET. GPS WILL OFTEN TRY TO TAKE YOU THROUGH TOWN ON BRIDGE STREET AND IT WILL TAKE YOU TO A VERY LOW, NARROW BRIDGE.

Location
Guests usually need to turn around in the grass in our yard. If we have had recent heavy rain, we may not be able to accommodate a larger rig. If you've made a reservation and we feel that the conditions are not safe for you to camp at our farm, we will be in touch as soon as possible.

My name is Marti Phillips. My husband Sam and I live on a small farm in Henry County, VA with our dog, 2 rescue kitties, and two horses. We enjoy anything outdoors, especially camping with friends. We really enjoy being a Boondocker's Welcome site because it gives us a chance to meet new camping friends and learn about their travel experiences. wow what a lovely stay! we were only at Hideaway Haven for one nifht, but we felt so welcomed by Sam & Marti. Their hospitality is unmatched, and their space- beautiful :) we will definitely be back again ! thank you Sam & Marti for your kindess!

We absolutley loved our stay at Hideway Haven. Marti and Sam were extremely accommodating and had much to offer. Fire pit, electric and would top off your water tank if need be. The views were gorgeous, there was hiking close by, horses to pet, and you can stay for multiple days.

What a lovely spot and hosts! Sam and Marti couldn't do enough to make our stay at their beautiful spread as wonderful as possible. And our dog Roxanne liked the place even more than us. Really one of the best stops on our whole trip!

These hosts are wonderful and so welcoming! Flynn (my dog) and I felt at home right sway. We wish we could’ve stayed longer but hope to return some day.
