Location

*10 ton weight limit. The last 2 miles of road is steep and narrow gravel/dirt township road. Keep an eye out on driver's(left)side for a 4x4 post with house #595 on it. House is not visible from the road. Driveway is gravel &1/4 mile long. If you are traveling in a motorhome with a toad, I recommend unhooking before climbing the mountain. Feel free to call or text with any questions.

Got in late due to traffic but when we arrived the host met us and we’re very friendly. Nice, almost level spot and easy to locate. The roads getting up there are narrow and steep so use caution if you are a larger rig. Highly recommend them for a safe spot to stay.

Really enjoyed our two nights on top of the mountain. Quiet, great view and fun and accommodating hosts that shared their piece of heaven with us. Plus some fresh muffins as a parting gift!

what can i say? To be up at the top of a Mountain looking down on the clouds then the beauty cannot be captured by a cameras len you must experience it for yourself. Our hosts Thomas and Gwen were very welcoming and only added to the experience of our stay.

Thomas went above and beyond to get us to their place. Because of local construction and road closures he actually met us at the local Walmart to guide us in. This location could be difficult for some rigs to get in and out of but we always like a challenge :) The view from their deck was FANTASTIC, but even better than that was a night spent around the campfire with Thomas and Gwen (and Mika the dog). Truely generous and interesting hosts. THANK YOU. We need to find an excuse to come back...

I was just going to try stopping anywhere to sleep. Found a spot with cell signal and requested Mehoopany Mountain for one night. Tom and Gwen said yes even though it was the same day and already getting late in the day. I’m so thankful for their friendly hospitality and the opportunity to take in the magnificent view. I really enjoyed meeting them and had some great conversation. My parking spot was perfect. The drive up the mountain was fun for me so be ready for a bit of a steep drive. Got to take in the morning view from the deck and see their home in the daylight. Awesome place. *Mika their dog is a little shy at first but we made friends. The cats inspected my van and gave it the OK. Lol I’d surely go back!
