Perfect, secluded spot to tour the area. The spot is huge and you can choose to park in a shaded area (very little silar, we learned…) or in a sunny spot. Beautiful, sorawling fields abound and you are on a back dirt track where I saw no vehicles and one Side by Side. The hosts are so welcoming and inviting and I was even able to have all my kitchen knives sharpened. All I have to say is cooking has been much easier with razor sharp knives! Thank you again!

Having spent a week in Elkhart at a rally, with a very busy train track next to it, we were ready for some peace and quiet to get some sleep. Lown's Place was just what we needed. We parked next to a corn field and has a beautiful one night. The drive to Traverse City was short and allowed us to get laundry and groceries. The neighbor not referenced by another reviewer came out and helped us find the correct spot to park. He visited with our dog for a bit but we didn't see him after that. We did but a quart of Lown's honey and hubby compared it to Cracker Barrel's which he loves. We're hoping to stop by again on our way back from the Michigan UP.

Max was a great host, meeting us at the farm and showing us where to park our RV. The farm has sheep, which our kids enjoyed watching! Max had maple syrup for sale, which was a wonderful purchase for our family. Thank you, Max, for letting us stay!
