House Rules
After hosting over 90 times and being guests, the caliber of Boondocker's Welcome folks we have encountered warrant little need for house rules. We are Christian, civilized, gentlefolk. We only ask you act accordingly while our guests. I am sorry to say this but after 18 months of inflation and now the 4th electric rate hike can no longer afford to provide electric and water au gratis. We will not charge a fee but please feel free to donate something to help defray the cost of your stay. ******A note about pets. We now have two new 7 month old Goldendoodles. They have gotten along with small dogs. Large dogs may take an introduction. Normally our guest's dogs have had the run of the property with ours. If there is an issue with our dogs yours will have to remain restrained. Finally, please complete your Profile and Bio to introduce yourselves and leave a review after your stay. We will gladly reciprocate. Here is the deal with reviews. It gives us bragging rights when we belly up to the Boondockers Welcome bar. We are just shy of 100 reviews. Happy trails!

Retired military/professional Details: The Mrs. and I live on a acre of land (fenced) in rural north central Florida lakeside. We are both retired. We recently purchased a 5th wheel after maybe a 12 year hiatus from camping. We have several friends who RV/camp and their stories seduced us back. Home Town: Melrose, Florida Favorite Boondocking Locations: We took a 2 month trip, last year, to northern Michigan. We used Boohdockers Welcome whenever possible. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also great. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am retired military, an engineer and Human Resources director. My wife is a retired Dental Assistant. I try to maintain everything I own. 2 cars, a truck, a cabin cruiser, a 5th wheel, a lawn tractor, various power equipment, our home and property. I am very busy. I thought I had retired. I have a tool garage with a lifetime accumulation of tools. I am more than happy to lend you tools or "turn to" with you.

We really really appreciated their hospitality and attentiveness in ensuring we were comfortable. We left feeling blessed for people like this in this world. Thank you for offering us a place to spend 2 nights.

Hal and Cecille were welcoming, helpful and generous hosts. I appreciated their warm hospitality when they invited me to enjoy food and drinks on their deck at sunset. It was really nice to have easy access to power and water hookups. The setting was peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this location!

I stayed here for a couple days so i could run an event in Middleburg. It was veey convenient and the hosts were super hospitable. Only downside was getting set up as it wasnt level and theres a good amount of soft sand. Took me awhile to get setup and secure but more experienced rv’ers probably wont have an issue.
