We love to travel and know you do too! We can offer a secluded place to stay that can house any size RV or Camper. We are pet friendly as long as your pets are friendly as well and you clean up after your pet. We have 2 dogs and they love new friends. We are located about 50 miles south of Chicago, IL. You will have complete privacy in our back woods area. During season there is a large garden that you will be parked near. There is a hand water pump for you use that will provide fresh well water. We will be adding more to our backwoods homestead as time progresses. Fair Oaks Dairy Farm is a close attraction (about 15-20 min away) that visitors can go enjoy, also Kankakee Sands Bison viewing area is less than 10 minutes away. If there are things you need, just ask! :) We can provide water upon request, and up to 30A electricity with a small fee with Advanced Notice.

We love to travel. We are both from small towns and live minutes from where we grew up. We have two dogs that we travel with (most of the time). We love outdoors and new adventures. Our favorite way to camp is to boondock out west. Utah is our favorite so far.

Amber and Garrett could not have been nicer. After a long travel day, they were able to accommodate us on short notice, provided us with both electric and water, invited us to pick tomatoes and cucumbers from their garden, and Garrett gave us some of the best corn we have ever eaten in our lives! Such a nice young couple, and so happy for them as they are expecting Zion Rose soon! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, from Ann & Jim Deaver.

We were on our way north to Indiana Dunes and wanted to stop at Kankakee Sands to see the bison, birds and wildflowers. This was a great location and we really enjoyed chatting with the hosts. Great parking spot and super quiet.
