Nurse who love to travel Details: 59 y/o who just started to RVing. I am a home health nurse and ready to go RVing full time once I retire. Love to work on my car or the kid's cars on days off. I have 2 kids both are nurses and my wife is a paramedic. My son is a medic with the NG. Due to that I am located close to the Mexican border, I do some pro-bono work under the supervision of a MD for people who has given a humanitarian permit to cross the border to be treated in our local hospital. In winter, my wife and I travel to Central America for vacation. Home Town: Deming, NM Favorite Boondocking Locations: None in particular at this moment. Skills or Expertise to Share: Home mechanic work that do not require heavy duty tools. I do oil changes, break changes. Anything related to nursing field. Minor plumbing repairs.

Although we didn’t get to meet Cruz, we had great communication with him. His spot was level and easy to back into in our van. We enjoyed our visit to Deming and City of Rock State Park while we were there.

This was an easy stay for me. The site is tight and on level gravel. It's in a common neighborhood, so if you're looking for a quiet night I wouldn't recommend it. Yes, tight and short, but that works for my small TT. The Host was quick to communicate. Having said this, I had a beautiful sunset walk after settling in. I would return. Thank you, Hosts!

Cruz and his wife were very friendly and gracious hosts. Upon arrival I had a nice conversation with Cruz and advised him I had a long driving day. After a few minutes getting settled there was a knock on the van and Cruz & Wife provided us with two plates of food. They said so you don’t have to cook. So thoughtful, appreciated & delicious.

Cruz came out to meet us and he was very welcoming and we had a few laughs. He gave us the head’s up about the yapping dogs next door and, as he said, they only bark for a few minutes and then it was quiet. It was nice to be able to walk our dog around the neighborhood into an open space field. Would recommend staying here if you have a small rig like we do, a class B van conversion that is only 18’. The space could fit something a few feet longer but not wider.
