Nestled among majestic oak trees, guests (& pets) can enjoy this spacious lot located in historic Millville. Just minutes from all this beautiful area has to offer, you’ll find Watson Bayou just steps away, 2 boat slips within a few blocks, historic downtown Panama City less than a mile away, Tyndall Air Force Base a short 9 miles away, and Panama City’s beautiful beaches just a quick 12 miles away. Whether you’re visiting for vacation or just passing through, you’ll have all the comforts of home and more in this little slice of Millville. If quiet and serene, and close to much of what makes Millville so special is what you’re searching for, look no further. Built in 1922, "Millville Mansion" (named by my mother's family) is a quaint, but spacious, 3 bedroom and 1 bath, pet friendly beach cottage. The RV space is located behind the home, on a concrete pad where the garage was located prior to Hurricane Michael. Guests can enjoy our screened-in porch (shared with guests of the home as well), a spacious back deck, and ample private parking for multiple vehicles and a boat (bring your own boat). You’ll also have access to the shared laundry room. *Please note this home is still undergoing some minor repairs as a result of Hurricane Michael. While structurally sound and fully functional, there are still some minor interior and exterior repairs/finishing work/landscaping being done. The immediate surrounding areas sustained a substantial amount of damage as well. While everyone is working diligently to make repairs, many areas including our little historic neighborhood are still in pretty rough shape. These restoration efforts do not affect the property’s home-like feel and will have no effect on your stay. We simply want to be completely transparent prior to your booking. THE SPACE When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a covered and attractive front porch that overlooks the historic Millville Cemetery. You will see the concrete parking area at the rear of the driveway where you can set up your rig and outdoor living spaces as you desire. In the morning, mosey out onto our screened-in porch or onto our expansive deck with seating for four and enjoy your morning tea or coffee. This extra space is shaded by one of our gorgeous historic oak trees and allows guests to expand their floor plan during their stay. This home also features a washer and dryer that can be used at no additional cost. (We ask that you please pay something to cover our costs if you use laundry facilities even if you don’t use hookups). There is ample private parking, you're welcome to park your tow vehicle, extra vehicle and/or bring your boat! There is so much to see and do in and around Millville including visiting our local farmer’s market, hiking on our beautiful trails, visiting our gorgeous beaches, taking in local art, dining at delicious local restaurants, or fishing off our magnificent coast. Whatever your reason for visiting, we hope you’ll find relaxation and fun at our little beach bungalow. We do not allow tent camping at all. *Please be sure to read all house rules and notes prior to booking. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you! For check-in/out info please see the “arrival and departure” section of the guidebook! Here is our digital guidebook: https://hub.touchstay.com/guest/TwlIvw7dRjQpK

House Rules

Please proceed to the concrete pad at the rear of the driveway OR the gravel area at the far back of the yard. Please don’t park directly next to the house/deck. Hookups are located at the left rear of the concret pad. The home on this property is a vacation rental and will likely have guests during your stay, they have been advised to leave the driveway clear for you. You are welcome to use the yard, deck and laundry room (located on the back porch), however if the home is occupied those spaces are shared with other guests. There is a fire pit for use as well, (back left corner of the yard, feel free to move it but please don’t use it on or near the deck). We do not supply firewood. No children under the age of 18 are to be left on premises at any time. Wifi is free, however, please be advised it doesn’t always work well since it’s far from the house. We’ve connected great at times and weren’t able to at other times. Weather is a factor. Your site is where Hurricane Michael decided I no longer need a garage, or the large gravel area next to it. The concrete pad is approx 12x20 but you can park your rig partially on that and partially on the rock. There is a 50Amp outlet, and a 30Amp outlet along with water hookups. There is currently no way to empty your holding tanks but we are working on that! Please use a surge protector as we are not responsible or liable for any power surges or any other damage/injury that may occur during your stay. Currently we are able to back in our 32ft camper without issue. We have not attempted anything larger, though other guests have successfully stayed in a 40ft plus toad. We are working on a circle drive that will allow us to navigate any size camper to the site (hence the odd gravel layout in the back as of now). Quiet generators are allowed. The yard is still quite a mess from Hurricane Michael but we are working to restore it. Please monitor your children or pets as it is a little rough for play or paws at the moment. This is a great spot if you just need a place to stop for a night or 2. The neighborhood is quiet and even though it’s an older neighborhood and has sustained substantial damage, we have great neighbors and a quiet little historic neighborhood. We are currently hosting a long term RV guest so if you are ok with sharing the space please feel free to request a stay, there is plenty of room for everyone!! This property is approximately 12 mi from PCB and 8 mi to Tyndall AFB.

Location

You can pull in or back in to back into the space. The driveway is rock. The street is fairly narrow but we have gotten our 34ft camper in with no problem. The best way to do it is to circle the block and have the front of the house on your left, pull just past it and back in. You'll park on the concrete pad at the rear of the driveway or the gravel in the far back of the yard. The water and electric hookups are to the left of the concrete pad at the rear. Please note we do not allow tent camping at all. Owners likely won't be on site, home is currently occupied by a tenant. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is ample space next to the camper spot to park a tow vehicle. ***We are currently also hosting a long term RV guest so if you’re ok with that please feel free to send a request!*** There is plenty of room for more than one rig.

We were travelling through and just stopping for the night. This place was perfect. A long wide gravel driveway with a concrete pad at the rear. Plenty of room to turn around (our RV is 23') and back onto the pad. Water and electricity available if needed. Quiet. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Millville Mansion was a lovely spot to spend our time in the Panama City area. Parking our 40 footer was easy, backed in off the street and right onto the pad! We appreciated the hookups and the laundry facility too. We walked, and drove over to Panama City Beach twice, once for a long walk and once for a great bike ride at PCB Conservation Park. Would have loved to see the inside of the house - I'm sure it would be a great vacation rental! Very peaceful and safe here! Thank you to our hosts.

This stay was perfect! I actually had a break down right before arriving, and it was amazing to be able to take a rest in this tranquil spot! In these crazy times that we live in, it really makes you feel positive about the world when you see kind people who are just sharing their space for nothing more than to help fellow travellers on their journey. I thank my hosts so much for the safe place to park and be able to have a day off to recuperate! !
