We live on 17 acres but have a small yard and unfortunately are very limited to the size of unit we can accommodate. 25 feet would be the maximum total length of either RV or car/truck trailer combination. We have good water to fill your tank but due to parking area it would not be feasible to hook up permenantly for the duration of your stay. 110 Volt power & Wifi is available. We live along side a creek and there is a nice trail along it through the woods to enjoy wildlife etc. Suggested Local Attractions:Google "Things to do in Edmonton" for attractions and things you may be interested in doing or seeing while in the area..

Retired couple who love RVing and meeting new people while traveling.. Details: Patty & I (John) both grew up on small farms in the same area so haven’t moved very far. At present, we have no pets but really miss having them. We have been married 56 years and have raised 2 daughters who each have 3 children ranging in age from 20 to 27. One family lives nearby and the other in the State of Washington. John has finally retired and loves to tend to the yard during the summer and keep the snow cleared in the winter. We cut a huge amount of wood which supplements our heating in the winter. John is a Boilermaker welder & Steel Fabricator by trade and a fixer up kind of guy and loves to tackle many projects around the acreage. Patty volunteers at our local Food Bank as well as the local County Museum. We really enjoy travelling in our RV and have seen a good part of the USA, but mostly the northwest area. We rent half a duplex for 6 weeks in Palm Springs during February/March and have been going there for the past 14 years. We’re both non-smokers, healthy, active and really enjoy meeting people as we travel. Also enjoy sipping a glass of wine in the great outdoors as well. Home Town: We live on 17 acres just on the outskirts of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We especialy love touring the Pacific Northwest as well as anywhere else the roads might take us. Skills or Expertise to Share: John is a Welder/Steel Fabricator by trade and is quite handy and repairing most anything. Patty is a wonderful cook who does a lot of experimenting in the kitchen with a very good success rate!

Our 1st experience with Boondockers Welcome hosts was so amazing that we figured no other hosts would come close. We were wrong. Our second hosts were outstanding as well. They were welcoming, friendly, warm and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend a stay here.

we sent misletoe a message to see if they could host us at a certain date, and the quick answer was yes. a few days later it turned out, that they wouldn't be home then, but they let us stay anyway and their brother, who takes care of the house, will introduce us. we could have a shower, use the workshop for some repairs, and stay on their beautiful property. it felt like being at home to us, and we really appreciate the hospitality of J. & P. if you ever think of visiting edmonton, visit misletoe. i certainly can recommend to host them if requested, as everything is clean and tidy at their place. thanks and hope to meet you sometime.

We had a wonderful day of recreation in their "park" as we called it. Loved to chat, got every support we needed and had been on our own also. Would come again if we could!
