We are semi retired. We moved to the Adirondacks about seven years ago. We are a boondocker host in Morehouse NY. We have an older mix rescue dog that travels with us. We like car mc and equipment shows. My husband tinkers with equipment, dumpsters and wood processing. I mow the lawn all week.

Can't compliment this host enough! This was our first ever Boondockers Welcome and it couldn't have been a better experience. Dawn was so helpful and generous with their lovely property. Thank you SO much!

We had an amazing stay at Dawn’s, fulfilling our dream to be in the ADK during the 2024 solar eclipse event. She was so helpful throught the entire process, provided great communication and was incredibly accommodating upon arrival. We loved our site location overlooking the small pond, the ability to hookup to water/electricity and access to wifi, allowing us to watch the NCAA National Championship game (GO HUSKIES!! 🐾). We felt right at home!

Dawn was great to work with. She communicated well everything we needed to know. Her and Joe’s property is amazing. From really great spots on the river (one with 15amp electrical), to lots of open space near a field (with WiFi and 30 amp service i think), they have options. Super nice people as well. Would definitely like to stay there again sometime. We opted to tent camp on this trip so the river spot was perfect. It was cold and having the 15amp power helped tremendously to offset the 25deg temps.
