Grateful for the life I have and the people in it Details: Retired to a small lake in Western Washington because it reminded us of Minnesota where we started our life together as teenagers. We enjoy traveling, have been to every state and a couple dozen countries. We lived in Germany while serving with the US Army in the 70's. Covid has taken it's toll on travel, but we recently acquired a 21 foot Class C motorhome which is perfect for us. Home Town: We are in a rural part of Snohomish County in the triangle between Machias, Granite Falls and Lake Stevens.

The hosts came out and met me at 9:00 PM! So thoughtful. Felt super safe AND loved the birds.

I had a very enjoyable time at Mountain Base Camp’s location. Very gracious hosts!! They welcomed me back for a 2nd night when my next BDW request fell thru (due to merger/system failure). Lovely lake view. Delicious apples, fresh from their trees, were truly enjoyed.

Great overnight stay at the "Mountain Loop Base"! Thanks to YOLO for making us feel so welcome -- our only regret is not getting a chance to chat more due to COVID considerations. Happy trails as you take your own campervan out on the road!
