(My dear wife, Ruth, suddenly joined our Lord in November, 2021. We married in 1979 in a high mountain valley that Utah shares with Idaho . We are both Christians.) For many years I worked familiarizing technical employees of many airlines with the various and complex electrical and mechanical systems on the new airplanes their airline would buy. I was also involved in production planning, design, procurement, flight test and installation of all large airplane propulsion systems. My employment was here in the Puget Sound area of Washington state and in Columbus, Ohio. Before and shortly after our marriage, I worked as a small single-engine air taxi pilot in Utah under 14 CFR 135 regulations and taught flying as an FAA-licensed flight instructor under 14 CFR § 61.195 regulations--accumulating almost 2,000 hours of flying time, day and night. (My gentle, beautiful and wise wife, Ruth, devotedly and passionately homeschooled our 4 children and loved camping. (Ruth held a BS Degree in Business Administration and a BS Degree in Art History--and was a licensed airplane pilot--but her passion and intellectual curiosity and love was for the Bible. Never did she waiver in her incredible realization that the Bible is the Word of God. (Ruth co-authored two copyrighted books-one on the book of Daniel and one on the book of Revelation. http://openingtheseals.com ) Our 4 wonderful children now enjoy families of their own, and live in Washington state. Home Town: Edgewood (between Seattle and Tacoma, Wa) Favorite Boondocking Locations: Off-grid on Forest Service land in southern Idaho, and off-grid in a few Washington State campgrounds.

Nice stop. Henry was kind and happy to see us. We parked on the grass in a pretty nice spot. A road was close on one side but it had little traffic. We were in a truck camper and didn’t have any difficulties getting in. This might not be true for a bigger rig.

Hank is the best host with the sweetest dog. I had a great time visiting with them before exploring Seattle. It’s the perfect spot to stay if you want somewhere close to Tacoma and Seattle. I hope to stay again soon.
