We are situated at the end of a private road with only 2 residences. 12+ wooded acres to enjoy(hiking/exploring). Currently we can only accommodate smaller trailers and more ideally CamperVans/Sprinters/Etc. PLEASE, do not count on electric or water(you are welcome to fill your tank at the house). Generators are not welcome, but possibly in an emergency(pets in hot weather, etc). There is a fire ring out back and more wood than can ever be used. ***This is our oasis, we wish to share it with good people, PLEASE respect it and leave it better than you found it. Put out active fires, pick up trash, if you smoke cigarettes, put the butts in your garbage. Don't ruin the opportunity for others to visit*** Suggested Local Attractions:The property borders a public golf course, downtown Lake Orion or Oxford are less than 1.5 miles as is public access to All-Sports Lake Orion(the lake) as well as others in the area. Dozens of miles of hiking/biking trails within a couple miles. Bald Mountain State Park and Addison Oaks. Public beaches, paved trails, etc. Or you can just hang out and feed the turkey and deer that frequent the property.

Outdoor Adventurers Details: We're an outdoorsy couple who love all types of vacations. Tropical to snowy winter travels. Low maintenance who value experiences over amenities. Hopes of long term RVing with a transition to more full time in the coming years. Prefer a long hike on a mountain trail to a city any day. Definite connoisseurs of quality food...and coffee. Home Town: Oxford, MI Favorite Boondocking Locations: We've been backpackers for years. We have just found our first camper and picked it up Dec 2020. 2014 Bigfoot 25b21fb. We are in the process of making it our own. Eastern UT in the Uinta Mountains would likely be our base camp when we get out west. Gorgeous, remote and not over crowded.

We enjoyed our stay by the pond with lots of hiking trails and croaking frogs. Road was a little rough gettin in, but setting your GPS first for the intersection of Conklin RD and Stoney Creek RD, Orion MI helps. Once you are at that intersection set your GPS for the street address on BW. This avoids the worst of the roads and avoids the 10 foot bridge to get on Indian Trail RD from the highway. Thanks for hosting us. :)

There were some logistical cold weather issues we had on our end, and had to cancel our stay... we will definitely be camping with them in the spring!!

The area was very quiet and private. Our hosts greeted us to make sure we knew where to go and answer any questions. They gave us a hiking map of the property and we enjoyed walking the paths in their woods with our dog. In the evening we enjoyed watching the deer. Overall it is a very nice place. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again.
