Very active couple - lots of travel, huge projects, a good life! Details: Robert (aka "Dr. No") is a retired Naval Aviator and a retired airline Captain. He is always involved with large projects, and occasional sculptures, and will eventually get around to casting metal sculpture. The current main project is refitting a 53' French aluminum sailboat at the shop. Jaye Jaye is a retired FAA Air Traffic Controller with a passion for landscaping and making jewelry. We look forward to bringing the bus to south Florida, Annapolis, MD and another long trip out west. Our longest motorhome trip was a full six weeks, and we want to have a long trip out west in the Spring of 2022. We love Pensacola and have lived here over 20 years. We are also a host, with a site less than two miles from downtown Pensacola. Home Town: Pensacola, FL Favorite Boondocking Locations: We took a long trip out to Burning Man two years ago, dry camped for 10 days in the dessert by Reno, NV. We've got to go out West, again! Skills or Expertise to Share: Very capable with RV repairs, modifications. Wife is a great cook!

We were very grateful to be able to boondock in such a heavy tourist area. Was hoping to get some welding done while we were there but their schedule could not accommodate us. Communication was excellent with both the owner and his employee from start to finish. Only stayed the evening while visiting our niece and hope we can stay again when we are back in the area.

This site is very convenient to downtown, the marinas, a seafood market not to be missed, and the beaches. We parked behind a wall of bamboo; it would be hard for passer’s by to know we were there. The hosts are fascinating people and we enjoyed our conversations. We made new friends.

This was a great overnight stay. Very safe and quiet. It was only a few minutes to the stadium, so we were able to catch a baseball game too. Thank you!

Great stay, convenient location. David was very helpful getting us to the correct parking spot and advised us to park near the bamboo for shade A walk in the afternoon to the marina is great spot to sit on the dock, watch boats coming by and see the sunset at the bridge.
