Level graveled area to the side of our garage on a flag lot. Water available though you will want to bring your own drinking water because of the taste. Alternatively, we have a level graveled area in the back of or property that is adjacent to a mowed field. It’s a great site but doesn’t have electricity or water. It uses a different driveway and has easy pull in access with plenty of room to turn around making it a much better site for the longer rigs. (No pictures of that site) Large unfenced yard and mowed field where you can exercise your dog. However, we also have outside kitties that prefer to not be chased! Amtrak and freight train tracks run about 1/4 mile from our house so you can expect periodic train noises throughout the night. Located 20 miles north of Eugene and the University of Oregon, and 25 miles south of Oregon State University in Corvallis. We’re a mile away from the Willamette River at Harrisburg, and easy driving distance to the McKenzie River. An hour and a half away from Florence on the Oregon coast.

House Rules

Arrive during daylight hours. We love dogs, but they need to either be on a leash or be directly under your control. No yippy dogs, please! And please pick up after them. Limited use of generators is allowed in a graveled site in the back of our property. (eg. as fine for running an appliance for a short time, but not for prolonged periods as for recharging batteries)

Location

FRONT ELECTRICAL SITE: We sit back away from the street. I’m including one picture to show the long driveway from the street. There’s adequate room for shorter vehicles to turn around in the driveway, which is on a flag lot and shared with our neighbor. Longer RVs will have to back in from the street, which is about 300’. We have a separate area in the driveway for you to park your tow vehicle. You will need to stay on our side of the driveway, which we’ll explain when you arrive. BACK NON-ELECTRIC SITE:: This site uses a separate driveway, which we will direct you to. Any size rig will be able to pull directly in and there’s lots of room to maneuver and turn around. There’s also space for tow rigs to stay connected to a trailer or fifth wheel. There is no outdoor lighting in this part of the property.

Wayne and I are retired and have been RVing on a semi-regular basis for about 8 years. Our longest trip was a 6 month adventure across the USA in 2019. We’ve made several 3-6 week trips plus many, many “shorts” in and around Oregon, where we live. Our favorite way to travel is by the seat-of-our-pants because we love to talk to folks as we travel and get recommendations about things to see and places to visit. In Oregon we often go to BLM or Forest Service campgrounds near our favorite fly fishing waters.

We were traveling home to PEI from BC and headed south to do so. They are the kindest people and the place was perfect. We had to stay a second evening unexpectedly and there was no problem. We would love to go back. With great thanks, ~Jeana & Mark

Hosts were really accomidating and welcoming. We called when we got there and Wayne helped us park, then showed us his property and where our dogs were allowed to play and be off leash. our dogs had a blast running around and playing ball. Hook ups were $5 for a night which was nice, spot was nice and level. With our rig and truck were over 50 feet so we had to back in a long drive way, but was manageable, they also had a separate spot for our truck to park. Beautuful house/property.

Very kind couple with a beautiful home and yard. They helped us get parked and hooked up as soon as we arrived. We had a nice quiet stay before heading to the coast. They even gave us a jump one morning when our trucks battery suffered from the over night cold. Thank you so much.

Wayne and Nancy were so very welcoming and Wayne helped me fix my water pump by taking me to two different stores out of the kindness of his heart. Truly a blessing to have met them. Thank you!
