Level graveled area to the side of our garage on a flag lot. Water available though you will want to bring your own drinking water because of the taste. Alternatively, we have a level graveled area in the back of or property that is adjacent to a mowed field. It’s a great site but doesn’t have electricity or water. It uses a different driveway and has easy pull in access with plenty of room to turn around making it a much better site for the longer rigs. (No pictures of that site) Large unfenced yard and mowed field where you can exercise your dog. However, we also have outside kitties that prefer to not be chased! Amtrak and freight train tracks run about 1/4 mile from our house so you can expect periodic train noises throughout the night. Located 20 miles north of Eugene and the University of Oregon, and 25 miles south of Oregon State University in Corvallis. We’re a mile away from the Willamette River at Harrisburg, and easy driving distance to the McKenzie River. An hour and a half away from Florence on the Oregon coast.

Arrive during daylight hours. We love dogs, but they need to either be on a leash or be directly under your control. No yippy dogs, please! And please pick up after them. Location
FRONT ELECTRICAL SITE: We sit back away from the street. I’m including one picture to show the long driveway from the street. There’s adequate room for shorter vehicles to turn around in the driveway, which is on a flag lot and shared with our neighbor. Longer RVs will have to back in from the street, which is about 300’. We have a separate area in the driveway for you to park your tow vehicle. You will need to stay on our side of the driveway, which we’ll explain when you arrive. No generator use in this front site. BACK NON-ELECTRIC SITE:: This site uses a separate driveway, which we will direct you to. Any size rig will be able to pull directly in and there’s lots of room to maneuver and turn around. There is no outdoor lighting in this part of the property. Limited generator use of a total of 1-2 hours per day is permitted in this area.

Wayne and I are retired - he a carpenter and Nancy from a nursing and healthcare career. We have been RVing on a semi-regular basis for about 10 years. Our longest trip was a 6 month adventure across the USA in 2019. And in 2023 a 4 month trip focused on the upper NorthEast and upper Midwest parts of the country. We’ve made several 3-6 week trips in the Western States, and lots of shorts trips in and around our home state, Oregon. Our favorite way to travel is by the seat-of-our-pants because we love to talk to folks as we travel and get recommendations about things to see and places to visit. In Oregon we enjoy BLM and Forest Service campgrounds near our favorite fly fishing waters. We became Boondocker Welcome hosts in June 2023 and have enjoyed hosting the many travelers who have stayed at our place. And we look forward to meeting our fellow BW Hosts when we travel!

We stayed here for a Doctor's Appointment 20 minutes away. It was convenient, the Hosts were pleasant and dog friendly. We did hear trains but they seemed to stop making much noise around 11pm. It was below freezing both nights this time of year which locals said wasn't common for November. Would definitely return. Thanks Wayne and Nancy for hosting us.

While its off the beaten path, this location is quite nice. The hosts are very friendly folks, we enjoyed chatting with them. We also heard the trains but it was NBD, reminded us of where we used to live. We'd be happy to return here anytime.

We had an exceptionally good experience with the Hayners. From first contact, communication was timely and clear. Although access to the site could have been tricky, they met us at the driveway, and guided us back to a roomy, secluded spot next to their garage. Plenty of room for our 35 Ft. Class A and slides. They make available 30 amp electricity for $10/night. Definitely came in handy during our stay, when the morning temps were in the high 20s! They made available their lovely yard and small field for walking our dog on leash. Wayne and Nancy are friendly and so helpful, and location is very quiet, yet convenient to I-5 and 99. Highly recommended.
