Our hobby business is in a small office building which was once the home office for a local railroad and railroad-building company. It sits adjacent to the Piney River Depot which is also the trailhead for the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail, a hiking, biking and horseback riding trail. RV's have been welcome in the trail parking area, but because of COVID, the lot is often full. My paved driveway is available for parking a rig. Suggested Local Attractions:Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail, Crabtree Falls. Nelson 151; a series of wineries, breweries, cideries and restaurants along VA RT 151 from our location and on up the mountain to the southern tip of Shenandoah National Park.

We chose this spot for us close proximity to the Overland East Expo and it was perfect. Our host was friendly and welcoming. We were away from our trailer for much of the weekend, but we felt it was safe where it was.

Our host was incredibly gracious and generous! Nearby trail for hybrid or mtn bicycling or hiking. We recommend site for vans or “small-er” trailers and experienced rver with backing-up skills.

Host was there to greet me and made sure I was set up. Busy road until about 10:00 pm (it was a Saturday) and then quiet. Right next to a great walking/biking/running trail! Thanks!

We stayed here on our way to West Virginia. The Piney River is right next door and the trail it a super bike ride. It's delayed harvest stocked trout stream. The host was super easy to work with. The morning of our departure he showed up and he gave us a tour of his interesting business. If I were 5 years younger, I'd sign up for one of the treks he organizes. We plan to visit again when the weather cools so I can fish the Piney River. Thanks for the Stay.

He was an excellent host the whole time we were at his place. He provided power and internet for us and it was a great help. With the internet, we were able to watch our football at night and keep the trailer cool. I will definitely stay again sometime in the future. The location was right next to the trailhead and was an excellent place to bike and walk. Outstanding stay!!!
