I have a driveway space for a single RV. I do have a 30 amp RV plug as well as access to 110 for smaller RVs. There is a CVS within walking distance. Driveway has a slight incline but it relatively flat. If you have a small single axle trailer with a long jack it can be hard to go up incline without scrapping. parking out front seems to work great for those trailers. No Rigs over 34 ft total length Suggested Local Attractions:Palo duro canyon quarter horse museum Cadillac ranch Big Texan best coffee Roasters. Best burgers Blue Sky. Best grocery store united on Georgia. we even have an RV museum. Best Coffee Roasters. Best Pet store for dogs Wings Wags and Whiskers. Best delivery local pizza La Bellas have great ribs too.

House Rules

Due to guests arriving consistently after dark I have had to implement no arrivals after dark, this is also a requirement of being a member of Boondockers welcome. If you cannot arrive before dark you will have to make alternate arrangements. We live on a dark street and it's safer to arrive before dark in order to back up the RV safely in my driveway. We are a non smoking household. We have pets and are ok with pets. Please clean up after your pet. If I don't answer my cell it's most likely I am still at work and don't have it with me and I will respond as soon as I can. You can arrive if I have not made it home yet. Park in front of the garage. All slides must be away from driveway and towards the trees. Electrical hookup is 18 inches above the ground to right of the garage for 30 amp and near the mailbox for 110. You are welcome to top off with water. The spigot is on the front of the house. Our water is very hard and has a metallic salt taste so a filter is a must.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Flat residential neighborhood usually not alot of cars on actual road parked. My driveway has a slope that is short and steep Rise over run if you have a low rig or a low tow you might have issues. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: You could park a towed vehicle on the street if your main rig is too long. Most people can fit on the driveway

Chemist and pet store owner Details: Hi my daughter and I own a local pet store Wings Wags and Whiskers. I am also a polymer chemist full time as my day job. I have wanted to do the RV full time thing but now is not the time. I recently read Nomadland and realized that being off route 66 and having a driveway I could most likely meet some friends and help people out. Home Town: Amarillo Texas nowadays. Originally from St Louis Mo. I still miss my hometown foods! Favorite Boondocking Locations: My future ones will be Santa Barbara coast panhandle of Florida southern Colorado Missouri Ozarks. And maybe overseas if I get gutsy enough to drive on wrong side of road and ship an RV Skills or Expertise to Share: Knitting, raising rabbits, spinning wool, sewing, cooking, and pet nutrition and health. Turning my backyard into a bee paradise and growing sustainable food sources for the rabbits and birds. I have started dyeing my own yarn and selling on live sales on Facebook for fun. When I have time I like quilting as well

We didn't get to meet the host, but she was very gracious in letting us stay the night even though she had renovations taking place. We had a quick stay, that worked out perfectly for us. We appreciated it!

We stopped here on our Route 66 journey. It was hot and we were able to use the 30 amp electric. The host was very friendly and welcoming.
