Currently we have 1 spot available - electricity (50/30/20 amp) and water (no sewer). We do not accept donations for hookups. We are a few minutes to the shore of Medina Lake and 35 minutes to the outer edge of San Antonio (50 minutes to downtown). We’re in the hill country and have walking trails on our property. Our property is rural, with a dirt driveway with some uneven and some steep grade. We live on 5.5 acres, with lots of deer and some other wild animals that visit from time to time. We keep our RV and truck camper on our property when not traveling. In addition to our house where we live, we also have a couple of shipping containers - one is our storage unit and the other one is an office where we work from home. We are a family of 5 (Mom, Dad, and three kids), and we homeschool/roadshcool our children. Suggested Local Attractions: Medina Lake, Town of Bandera, Hill Country Suggested San Antonio Attractions: San Antonio Missions (including The Alamo), River Walk, Six Flags, Sea World, Tower of The Americas Let us know if you need to stay longer. Watch your children. Clean up your trash, and everything you use. No smoking or drinking on the property - you’re welcome to smoke in your RV and to drink in or near your RV. The property is gated, so let us know when you’re going to arrive, so we can let you in. You may ask for extra nights, if we’re able to host you longer, we will let you know.
Location
We have a dirt driveway, part of it is steep, with some tight corners. If your RV has low ground clearance, you might not be able to enter our driveway without bottoming out. If you have a trailer, four wheel drive is recommended because you may lose traction on the steepest part of the driveway, especially if it has rained. Motor homes might also struggle with traction if it rains. ----Fifth Wheel and Class A Owners: Our property is heavily wooded, clearance under the tree branches is as low as 14 feet, and parts of the driveway are steep. We have successfully hosted many large 5th wheel and Class A rigs, but about 1 in 5 guests with such rigs have found this to be difficult/undesirable. If you would prefer not to deal with this kind of terrain, we'll understand if you decide to stay elsewhere. If this is not an issue for you, then we look forward to hosting you. --Our available site has water and 50/30/20 Amp electric hookups, is parallel to the driveway, and will accommodate larger RVs. --There’s room to park your tow vehicle next to the rig. Sometimes we have a second space available. Check back later or send us a message for availability on a second spot.

We wanted to visit San Antonio but have some time to relax with peace and quite at the end of the day. Danny’s place is the perfect option. The communication with our host was easy and he waited for us at the gate. We got settled very easely and had the feeling to be extremely pampered when we hooked up water and electricity. Top on the already big sundae: fast internet was available!! Thank you soooo much!!Such a wonderful stay!

The moment we parked, I was excited to write a review for this place! As they state, it's steep to get into. We haul a 35ft 5th wheel with an extended truck bed (and have a motorcycle on a welded carrier on the back of the camper). Taking it slowly,we had no issues. As for the site itself, it felt like we were staying at a state park. The woods on their property are beautiful, not to mention that it felt so safe there, especially with the gated entry. They've cleared walking trails all over their property which are just beautiful. We were greeted by the host on arrival, ushered to our spot, and then received a welcome text with local attractions. After all of this, having the water and electric hookup was just a huge bonus. My husband and I agreed it was the best BW site we've stayed at yet!
