We live on 17 acres in a valley that is convenient to many outdoor activities and the downtown center of Mount Horeb. It is close to Military Ridge State Trail, Popular Cyclist Routes, Governor Dodge State Park, Blue Mounds State Park, House on the Rock, and Epic. Nearby are options for activities in every season: hiking, biking, or leisurely strolls on the trails or through one of the charming towns in Southwestern WI. This location is great for a quiet get away.

Nestled Valley was our very first Boondockers Welcome stay, and this was an excellent choice. The location was isolated and very quiet, with beautiful panoramic views. There was plenty of space to park and relatively level too. Other reviews have indicated there is no cell service and this was true for US Cellular as well. The terrain to the south blocks signals from Mt Horeb towers. Having read these reviews, I brought a directional antenna on a mast with a Nextivity Cel-Fi Go signal booster achieved 45Mbps speeds once set up. This was all to stream the Packer game the following morning. After a peaceful evening, we were offered the opportunity to walk the trails on the property, which was enjoyable. I would absolutely stay again ay Nestled Valley!

Hosts came out to greet us. There is lots of room and the lot was fairly level. Very quiet and peaceful. Just be aware there is little to no service even with wifi once you leave the main road so do any research and downloading before you arrive. Very relaxing stay. :>)

We could not be happier with our visit to Nestled Valley. Doug and Meg were perfect hosts and treated us like family. It's on our "places to stay" list when we're in the area again.

This is a great place to stay close to Madison and Mt. Horeb. We visited Cave of the Mounds and Blue Mounds State Park as well as the above. Follow their directions and double check your GPS because we did, indeed come from the wrong direction. I would recommend finding the address to the co-op and entering that in instead of their address. Friendly hosts, nice walking trail, friendly cat and interesting views of cows and horses.
