After getting an approval from us please text me as to your ETA as I will probably need to rearrange the cars in our driveway. My phone number is at the bottom of the bottom of this message. We are near Newport, DE where I-95, 295, 495 and 141 all converge. If you travel the I-95 corridor this is where the traffic congestion starts as travelers heading to and fro from PA and NJ thru the Delaware bottleneck. We are offering a travel layover in a safe suburban setting in our driveway. We live in a quiet family friendly development so it's not scenic but we have a big back yard and enjoy sitting around a campfire and swapping stories of the road, fishing and family experiences. Wilmington/Newark area has some nice attractions, and decent fishing if that is what you are into otherwise get some rest. I fly fish and can direct you to some good streams to cast your fly. We are also foodies and can direct you to some excellent and diverse restaurants if you desire to experience something other than RV or fast food. If you prefer to cook your own or use our bbq egg that is ok with us. We are close to everything! Groceries, gas, propane, hardware, walmart, Home Depot etc. There is a reason you cannot book a stay with us outside of 1 week. My wife works in retail and her schedule is fluid. When she gets a few days off we take off to where ever. We don't know when those days are and we covet them when they come. So we limit the booking to a week out because her schedule will be known by then. I also don't mind someone shooting me a text and asking if they can stay the day they arrive. I know how to say no and if we are home then most likely the answer is yes. I also know of a nice state park near here that usually has an open space. So you can text me at three, 0h, two, five, six, three, seventy two, seventy.

We are a married couple with 7 children and 11 Grandchildren. I am a retired high school science teacher and my wife is a retired child psychologist, domestic engineer, expert chef and interior decorator who now works in retail teaching millennials the meaning of actual work. For now we travel when we can from our home in Delaware in search of unique back country roads, places to camp, hike, explore, Kayak, flyfish and find like minded souls. In the future we would like to travel full time in search of our final resting place.

Dan & Beth are awesome hosts!! From the moment we arrived Dan accommodated us with squeezing in my 34 ft Class A MH in his driveway (success)..Best of all we got to share many stories around the fire which was awesome and best of all was the company. We talked late into the night and It was a chilly night, so the fire was perfect (Thanks Dan for chopping and providing the wood and Thanks Beth for helping me take down that tasty red vino..) We would definitely stay here again! #BeeHippyLifeStyle (Cesar, Dina and Umma the Dog)

Beth met me and got me set up since Dan was hunting. Had a great conversation around the campfire. Very interesting folks and will stop again when in that area.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Dan and Beth's property very much. They were great communicators leading up to our stay, and so welcoming once we arrived. We had a good time chatting with them and everything about the stay, parking, etc. was as described! Would definitely recommend their stay to other boondockers.
