We are a small ranch on 40 acres conveniently located just northwest of the city of Live Oak. We are a short drive from I-75 and I-10 situated between the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Suwannee River State Park. Boondocking is nestled in fairly level old hay fields surrounded by woods and Live Oak trees. You will have access to the 20 acres we don't use for our home and livestock. Feel free to stretch your legs and walk around the property, explore the paths through the woods, or have a campfire if conditions permit. We have plenty of wood stockpiled for your use. You are welcome to bring your dog(s) or other pets. Dogs may be off leach just know the perimeter is not fenced in case they run off. The horses, Missy and Apollo, and cows, Meats and Pete, are friendly. Missy and Apollo enjoy mints, carrots or apples if you want to share. We enjoy traveling with our 2020 GMC 2500 and 30’ Airstream and three well behaved dogs - a basset hound, beagle mix and foxhound mix. We love camping, biking and just relaxing at the beach any chance we get.

We had a peaceful night at the Box J Ranch. We had the entire pasture to ourselves. There was a firepit, wood and chairs provided which we did not use as it was a windy day. Very easy to find. About a 10 minute drive from I-10. Owners were not home when we arrived however I texted them when we were 30 minutes out and received a quick response with instructions on where to park. Nicole came out to say hello when she got home. Thanks again Nicole and Jeff for sharing your property with us!

Our hosts responded quickly to our messages, and directions were clear and easy to follow, using google maps. What a lovely spot. When we arrived we easily spotted the two chairs and firepit, with a pile of dry wood to burn. Great spot in a large open pasture with cattle grazing( fenced in) and 2 beautiful horses. It made a lovely scenery to relax and look at. If you want peace and quiet in a wide open space, definitely come here. Very spacious and easy access. Thank you Nicole and Jeff. Regards Diana and Germain.

We had great communication with the host and no problems locating Box J Ranch and pulling in. The site was a hige open pasture with firewood, fire ring and chairs. Very thoughtful hosts. Really was looking forward ti meetinf the horses and taking a walk in the wood, unfortunately had to leave early in morning after some unfortunate news about my brother in law.
