Midlife Semi-retired Active Couple who love Exploring in their class B - NirVANa Details: We’re Steve & Denise and we look forward to hosting you on our property in lovely Lantzville, on Vancouver Island - the West Coast of Canada. Our RV adventures all started In 2016, when friends drove across Canada in their campervan. Fortunately for us, they didn’t have time for the return drive, and needed someone to bring the van home. “We’ll do it,” we both exclaimed! We flew to Nova Scotia, took possession and began an epic odyssey through the Atlantic provinces and back across the US. This trip ignited our passion for Van Life. Soon after, we purchased a shiny new campervan and named her NirVANa, a nod to the good vibes we get when we hit the road, and of course, because of the darn cutesy play on words. In May of 2021 we launched our youTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCmH0w0cmkc8zg43pKEbgOQ and website: VanlifeMidlifeRocks.com and hope to offer a fun and informative look at our experiences as we explore North America. Please check us out and feel free to Subscribe. We upload a new video every Wednesday. 😊🚐 Home Town: We live in the village of Lantzville on Vancouver Island. It’s just 5 minutes north of the city of Nanaimo, which is quite central on the Island. It’s about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive south to Victoria, and about a 2 1/2 hour drive west to the world-class destination of Tofino and Long Beach. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are building our skills everyday in videography and video editing. Steve also loves photography and writing, and Denise loves gardening, piano, and cooking - with a focus on vegan cuisine.

We had a perfect stay. Our hosts greeted us and we had a great chat all about all of our travels. They even gave us some inside info about some "secret" places on and around the island we'd never heard of before. Lots of room for the rig, and a very quiet, peaceful sleep before our early ferry the next day. Thanks guys!

Despite the rain we were welcomd very friendly by Denise and Steve. Due to the bad weather we were unable to take a walk. We stayed here for one night before leaving with the ferry. It's a great place and it was quiet. There is also a beautiful view of the cost nearby. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a lovely 2 nights at Steve and Denise's. We were able to plug in and the space was perfect for our Coach and tow vehicle. We enjoyed a couple of excellent hikes that were recommended by our hosts.
