Sasi's Retreat

Farmstead in central Kansas provides a quiet, country stay. We have several places you can park, all on grass or driveways, and close to level. You may need to use leveling blocks, depending on where you choose to park. One electric hookup ((30 A only)) is available near the Quonset. Water is available from our well. We use a water filter when filling our trailer. There is a dump station for wastewater. We are located ten miles from Cheyenne Bottoms, the largest wetland in the interior of the US, a stopping point for birds migrating along the Central Flyway. The Bottoms are also critical habitats for several endangered and threatened species. A little further is Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. (The Bottoms are suffering from the drought at this time with low water levels and some ponds have dried up completely. I do not know how this will affect the fall bird migration. I have not heard anything about Quivira, it may be suffering the same fate.)
