Area A along tree line by small vineyard and Area B is back in timber along river. Area A is along tree line with small vineyard just next to it. It would potentially have electric service of 20 amp available off shed service. Water may be available if wanting to haul from hydrant in owner’s yard. A RV dump station is approximately 2.5 miles away by small municipal park. There are very few trees to maneuver around. Shaded starting at about 1:00 pm. Can accommodate a large RV or two with little maneuvering. Closer to Hwy 3. Covers approximately 2.5 acres. Area B is back in timber and is along river up on small bluff overlooking same. No services directly available. Water may be available if wanting to haul from hydrant in owner’s yard. A RV dump station is approximately 2.5 miles away by a small municipal park. This does have fire-ring and picnic table at site to use. Can accommodate a large RV or two if want to do a little extra maneuvering back and forth to get set up just the way wanted. Lots of trees to maneuver around but, lots of shade through whole day. Approximately 1,000 ft from Hwy 3. Covers approximately 2.5 acres.

Ken (Butch) and Denise Norem like to travel and see country. We plan on RVing full time in few years. Butch has worked for electric utility for almost 39 years and Denise is retired nursing professor. We have two children grown up and on their own. We are looking to meet others seeing the country in their RV and learning more about that long term. We have met some Boondockers guests and great to see where they are from and where they are headed. We like to provide a quiet stay for travelers coming through and hope to share a little about each others RV experiences and lives.

This is a beautiful spot in the middle of Iowa. The host met me at the driveway entrance and took me on his 4 wheeler to scope out the numerous possibilities for parking. I was able to park without unhitching my toad, so that made me happy. After a pleasant evening walk by the river, I enjoyed a restful night, serenaded by coyotes. Norem Vineyard is working to make this a premier spot for Boondockers Welcome. Thank you for your hospitality.

staying at Norem Vineyard felt like home. you can choose from 2 spots at the back of thr hosts house. our 35ft fifth wheel had no problem getting back there but it does require a little skilled driving to get round some trees. Butch and Denise the host are so lovely and friendly . they kindly showed us to our spot and let us top out water tank before heading to our spot. I would highly recommend Norem Vineyard for a peaceful night sleep and some amazing hospitality .
