We have a main driveway that is available for your rig. Park along the side just past our personal drive. The adirondack chairs are yours to use, can be very pleasant in the morning if the sun is shining and wind is still. It is a small driveway that can accommodate Class B and Class C motorhomes or very small travel trailers. We are a five minute drive to the downtown area or uptown, a 15 minute bike ride or a 45 minute walk. We are a few blocks from the beach and Fort Worden. It is a quiet neighborhood with an off leash area for dogs just 2 blocks away. If you are catching an early ferry out of Port Townsend, this is the perfect spot as we are 7 minutes away. Suggested Local Attractions:Fort Worden, numerous festivals, quaint shopping, and Victorian era homes are just the beginning. There is a nice 9 hole golf course in the middle of town and plenty of good restaurants, pubs and music. Pt Townsend is an artists heaven so in the summer you can usually find someone playing their music for you on one of the downtown street corners (don't forget to drop a tip in their jar). There are many galleries in town showcasing some amazing art. You can rent a kayak or an e-bike or take your own bike for a spin. If you are in town on a Friday night in the fall you might be lucky enough to catch the home town high school football team take on one of their rivals at Memorial Field downtown. Maybe you are here for the Wooden Boat Festival that attracts upwards of 5000 or more visitors each September. Whenever you come to P.T. you will not be disappointed Our home is only blocks from the beach on the Straight of Juan de Fuca, and a few blocks from the western edge of Fort Worden. We are close to the fairgrounds where there is a pay dump station with easy access. If you are planning to travel to Whidbey Island by ferry, it is advised you make reservations as they fill up fast. We are only a 10 minute drive to the ferry. To make reservations check out WSDOT and look for options for ferry reservations.

Active couple waiting to meet you. Details: We are an active couple that like to get out and explore. We are not much into being weekend warriors so we save our trips for when we can go longer. We love to get out and walk, ride our RAD e-bikes and geocache when ever we can. We have a home based business which allows us to work from just about anywhere. We recently transitioned from a 5th wheel towable to a Ford Transit camper van. We had it converted to be more of a rolling tent than a rolling condo, but we have all the necessary items to be self contained. Home Town: We live in the North Beach area of Pt Townsend, a Historical Victorian Seaport located on the Olympic Peninsula. We have many events going on year around here and Pt. Townsend is definitely a vacation destination for many people. It has a very quiant downtown area that has lots of fun shops to explore. Our home is only blocks from the beach on the Straight of Juan de Fuca, and a few blocks from the western edge of Fort Worden. Skills or Expertise to Share: We can help with some fun things to do while visiting Port Townsend

Charlie and Jayne are fabulous hosts! Communication was easy, we were greeted upon our arrival, and they told us key points to visit in the area. They were a joy to talk to. Electric is available and parking is easy. Location is great. Hope to stay again! Highly recommend a visit to these wonderful hosts and their lovely town!

We had a very pleasant stay with Charlie and Jayne. The spot was level for our Class B van and the area was dead quiet at night except for a bit of A18 air traffic from nearby Whitney Island for a few hours. Charlie suggested we explore Fort Worden which was very walkable from his place. There are tons of trails to explore in the area. The aquarium and museum in the Fort were closed but looked interesting. Downtown is within an ambitious walker’s distance and a great way to explore this charming town. We so appreciated and enjoyed our visit.

We showed up an hour before sunset and Charlie & Jayne were very welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and directed us to the beach a couple blocks away which was amazing. Absolutely beautiful property & location! Thank you so much for the hospitality.
