If the ground is dry (and no rain expected), there is room in the yard beside our camper. That spot is not completely level, but a lot of folks have been able to use it. If the ground is wet, or you need a completely level spot, we can put a rig on the concrete pad in front of our garage. You will need to either back into the driveway when you arrive or back out of it when you leave since we do not have turnaround space. The good news is that the driveway is straight, though. Quiet, semi-rural area. 3 miles to WalMart and all of the things that surround a typical WalMart. Suggested Local Attractions:45 miles to downtown Dallas. 49 to downtown Fort Worth. Anything north of downtown(s) will be closer. We are near US 380. Many of our guests have been "just passing through".

House Rules
Pets need to be on leash since we have a lot of dog-walkers in the neighborhood. The reason for "barbecues not allowed" is the danger of wildfires. In general we just ask that our guests fit into a quiet neighborhood.
Location
Access Road Conditions: The main entrance to our subdivision has a weight limit of 15,000 pounds and some limbs at about 12 feet. But there is a secondary entrance if either of those is an issue. Otherwise it is easy access to our driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: If the ground is dry, parking is available on the grass. Otherwise we have a concrete pad that is also available.

Retired teacher and computer systems analyst. Details: Originally from Mississippi, we have been living in north Texas since 1977. Hence our handle, NorthTexsippians. We started RV'ing around 1993 with a (very) used popup camper with no air conditioning. We are now on our third travel trailer. Our longest time on the road has been one month. Home Town: Denton, TX Favorite Boondocking Locations: Have only done a little boondocking so far. But we would like to try it more. With hookups, have been from the Texas Hill Country to Colorado to the Great Smoky Mountains, and lots of places in between.

My stay here was great, the host was super nice and welcoming, spot also had no issues and had good shade, plus a nice elevated view during sunset and sunrise as well.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to get initiated into the program. Host was quickly responsive and available through texts. He was there to guide us into our parking spot then let us know we were welcome to use his front porch. Beautiful, quiet subdivision of acreage lots. While walking our dogs, we discovered a very nice, large park. Extremely nice hosts, very peaceful place.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this couple. Super responsive and timely communication, both prior to and during stay. Most enjoyable sunset happy hour on front porch, with view of lovely lake in the distance. Huge, shaded backyard with not a peep of disturbance, day or night. 30aml Electric worked as expected and water was available if needed. Super nice neighborhood. You will not be disappointed!!
