We're in a rural subdivision with an HOA. Covenants allow RV's but we like to be discrete-ish, so no lawn chairs or barbecues. We are convenient to major MD, DC, and northern VA metro areas, and also in a good location for crossing between I-81 and I-95. Suggested Local Attractions:Harpers Ferry, Washington, DC, Hollywood Casino's. VA Wineries. Not suitable for large RV's pulling a trailer. Flat towed vehicles ok if you unhook.

Location
Access Road Conditions: Rural subdivision, so all paved, some speed bumps. I've owned various rigs from 40ft motorhome with toad to a custom C7 truck pulling a 40ft fifth wheel and have gotten them in and out without problems. Just take your time and be careful. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to the rig in the driveway or in the grass.

We had a good stay at Nothing Special. Convenient location and power was handy. Hosts helped us backup into the driveway and had moved all their vehicles to make our life easy. Appreciated them letting us use their fenced jn backyard for our pooch. Thanks!

We arrived at Nothing Special after good communication with Chris. We were greeted by his son who showed us where to park. Unfortunately trying to park between their RV and another vehicle proved impossible. Keep in mind we were towing a trailer which was the problem we think. Location is very close to historic Harpers Ferry. Before we left, owners were gracious enough to let our 2 dogs run freely in their fenced in back yard. Would still recommend to those with a smaller rig than our 37ft plus 21 ft flatbed trailer.

We scheduled a stay at Nothing Special because it was close to Harpers Ferry. The host gave us a level spot on his large driveway. He even moved a vehicle to give me plenty of room to back in. He also provided 30amp electric and a dogbone to go from 50amp to 30. But our dog loved the large fenced in backyard and went running at top speed until he plopped down in the grass all worn out.

Spent a quiet evening stargazing and nary a car went by. Though the next day was day 1 for their kids' school, hosts took great care of us. Thanks so much!

Loved our stay here. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Level driveway; easy access; 50a and water. Hope to stay here again. Five stars!
