I am 15 minutes from Highway 85, on a rural road surrounded by trees and a nearby farm. I have a very large, fairly level front lawn which is fine for someone to park smaller RVs and schoolbuses. I am halfway between Charlotte and Greensboro North Carolina, not far from Winston Salem and Highpoint. My town is fairly small but has nice bars, cafes and restaurants. The larger cities have many attractions and museums. My property is generally very quiet, and is a Certified Wildlife Refuge.

I am a retired nurse having worked at the Veteran's Administration for a number of years. i spend my time between my Homestead (Ohana Homestead) (aka Ramshackle Homestead) trying to keep up with sooooo many gardens! I grow flowers. some vegetables and herbs. I also volunteer teaching English to Ukrainian refugees, and supporting them in whatever way that I can. I study Ukrainian and Spanish languages, I am an artist, grandmother, plant/nature lover in all of its innumerable manifestations, love learning about space, the macro and micro worlds. I am just starting to take small steps out of my comfort zone after a major setback several years ago, traveling with my new best friend, "Tank" - my Subaru Outback. I do not currently travel with any pets. as my cat family prefers to stay home and not be on the road! i always bring my "Traveling Art Studio" wherever I go, as one of my passions is sharing art supplies and paper with whoever wants to play :D I love cooking, eating good food, campfires, walking in the woods, swimming, reading, listening to inspiring podcasts, making Konbuca, Jun and feremented foods, herbal potions. I like and need simplicity, prefer slow over speed, and savor the moment. I also feel strongly about providing care, love and service in this world, hopefully to continue to make meaningful contributions no matter how small they may seem. Being grateful for the day and for life is what keeps my soul alive.

Ruby was super kind. Her property is large and she allowed me to walk around and enjoy her Koi pond and nearby creek. Thank you.
