We own ~60 acres on Northern Michigan’s beautiful Old Mission Peninsula surrounded by the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan. Old Mission Peninsula has everything you could ever want from the agricultural life (farms, orchards and vineyards) to wineries, restaurants and outdoor recreation. If town is more your thing or you’re looking to check out more of the areas offerings you can take a short 8 mile drive into downtown Traverse City which has a diverse mix of delicious restaurants, breweries, beaches, and shops. From there you can explore all of Northwest Michigan’s lake front towns - Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Frankfurt, Northport, Glen Arbor, Elk Rapids and many more.

We have small circle in our driveway that surrounds a large willow tree and there are a couple different places to park for your stay. It’s not perfectly flat but you’re welcome to park on the pavement or grass/gravel to make it fit your needs.

We are a family of 5 from Traverse City, MI. We have three kids and a dog (sometimes he travels with us). We travel in a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter van (22') that is built out to accommodate some fun family adventures and all the exciting gear we get to carry along with us. We love being outdoors and exploring new spaces, and while any adventure is worth checking out we typically are carrying bikes or kayaks with us.

Quiet and peaceful surroundings. So spacious, with woods, walking trails and pastoral scenery, including horses. Friendly hosts. Would definitely return!

Our stay at Old Mission Delight was indeed delightful! The property is beautiful and the camping area was like a private campsite by a glorious willow tree. The host and his family were warm and welcoming and it was a joy to talk with them. The host checked on us and did what he could to help us with an electrical issue we were having with our rig. Communication was excellent. I hope we have the opportunity to visit this host again to explore more of the beauty of Old Mission Peninsula.

We had a wonderful evening at our hosts, Luke & Paige’s home. A very quiet location just off their driveway and behind a huge willow tree, the site was level and easy to get into with our 24-foot motor home. The location on the Old Mission Peninsula is really convenient for touring wineries and farms, visiting the lighthouse at the end of the Peninsula and checking out the local restaurants. We even got to meet and feed carrots to their two horses and briefly spend time meeting their busy, active family. Thank you for your gracious hosting!

I could not believe my luck when this spot was available on the dates I needed. The location was perfect, it was easy to get in and out of, and the family was so nice. They even invited me up to their bonfire on my last evening there. I will definitely stay here again!

Very nice host. Provided a long 15amp power cord for our stay. We are 34ft. and it was very tight getting into the spot but it was manageable. I would not suggest anything longer. Location was great for wine tasting and touring Traverse City. Did not have the opportunity to explore the property due to torrential rains.
