We own ~60 acres on Northern Michigan’s beautiful Old Mission Peninsula surrounded by the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan. Old Mission Peninsula has everything you could ever want from the agricultural life (farms, orchards and vineyards) to wineries, restaurants and outdoor recreation. If town is more your thing or you’re looking to check out more of the areas offerings you can take a short 8 mile drive into downtown Traverse City which has a diverse mix of delicious restaurants, breweries, beaches, and shops. From there you can explore all of Northwest Michigan’s lake front towns - Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Frankfurt, Northport, Glen Arbor, Elk Rapids and many more.

House Rules

We are a family and live in earshot of our neighbors so we expect our visitors to be respectful of our property and our neighbors. We do have chickens and a couple cats that roam the property so we ask that dogs be kept on a leash. Thank you.

Location

We have small circle in our driveway that surrounds a large willow tree and there are a couple different places to park for your stay. It’s not perfectly flat but you’re welcome to park on the pavement or grass/gravel to make it fit your needs.

We are a family of 5 from Traverse City, MI. We have three kids and a dog (sometimes he travels with us). We travel in a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter van (22') that is built out to accommodate some fun family adventures and all the exciting gear we get to carry along with us. We love being outdoors and exploring new spaces, and while any adventure is worth checking out we typically are carrying bikes or kayaks with us.

A perfect spot to use as a base for exploring the Traverse City area. On our rainy day we visited wineries and on our sunny day we went to Sleeping Bear Dunes and enjoyed the beautiful Fall colours and weather. A quiet, peaceful spot and we appreciated having water and 15amp hook-ups. Thank you!

A beautiful property on the way to Mission Point Lighthouse. we were a little surprised by the dirt road, but it was a well maintained road. The area for us to park was blacktopped and next t o a campfire area. Very quiet and peaceful. Luke and Paige very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
