We are located in the town of Addison, VT, which is classic rural Vermont, farmland and open spaces. We have both year round and seasonal neighbors. It is 2.5 miles to the nearest country store (limited groceries, gas and diesel). The closest towns are Vergennes (10 miles) and Middlebury, VT, (20 miles), Vermont's largest city, Burlington, is 35 miles to the north. The Lake Champlain Bridge between VT and NY is 5 miles south. Security Cameras are on the premises. Suggested Local Attractions:The Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks of NY.

Easy communication with a gracious host. The home is stunning and right on the lake. It was very quiet and gets very dark at night. We stayed the weekend while out exploring the area for the eclipse. Despite wifi, my signal for video work was not optimum, but easily remedied with our travel into a cute little adjacent town. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much! Angie

Fred and June's property is nestled into a peaceful pocket of Vermont and the drive in and around this area is very picturesque. The hosts were kindly accommodating and permitted us to stay despite already having boondocking guests in place. We enjoyed a relaxed stay and the views to Lake Champlain. Thanks to our hosts!
