We are located off a country road on the Niagara Escarpment near Milton, ON. Driveway is paved and about 50 metres long. There are several options for parking on grass if it's not too wet, or on the driveway. 30 amp service is sometimes available, it just ties up our driveway more so it depends how much space we need for our own vehicles. 15 Amp service is more easily available. Please let me know when you make your request if you need electricity. Electricity is $5 per night. It's best to back in if you're in doubt about turning around, but so far all of our guests have been able to turn around in our driveway. Suggested Local Attractions: Kelso Conservation Area Bruce Trail Springridge Farms Mohawk Racetrack - horse racing & casino We're about a ten-minute drive to the Milton GO Train/bus station to go into Toronto or 25 minutes from Appleby Station on the Lakeshore West line. We're a little more than an hour from Niagara Falls

Location

Access Road Conditions: Smaller motorhomes and vehicle/trailer combinations will be able to turn around in our circular driveway. I can just make that turn with my full-size pickup (8' bed crew cab). Larger vehicles may need to back in from the road. I recently had a visitor with an F150 and 28' trailer that was able to turn around. If you are coming from the south you may want to avoid Appleby Line north of Derry Road. It's quite steep and has several switchback turns. It's closed to trucks and buses, but even with a long trailer or large motorhome you may get stuck due to the steep hill and sharp turns. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to or attached to trailer

Convenient stop over in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by natural setting. Welcoming host. Paved driveway parking. Easy access from highway. Would definitely come again for a longer stay to enjoy the nature trail in the area.

Everything was great....communication at time of booking, pre-arrival and upon arrival.....nice and quiet spot even though it's next to a main road....and the location is great, short walk to Kelso Conservation Area with great trails and gorgeous views.

I strongly recommend this host. This was my second visit and I hope to stop again if I have to go in the area. I was warmly welcomed, parked on a levelled ground and hooked to electricity. I deeply enjoyed my 8 km walk with my dogs in the provincial park right next door.
