I'd like to start off with saying that Open Air Countryside is a great location. Perfect farm setting, Plenty of space, easy access, country setting with peace and quiet. They run a business from this location, however we found this to not be a distraction or a hindrance at all, to our stay. Their employees were nice, the hosts accomodating, and was well worth the trip. We stayed during the solar eclipse and were able to enjoy it without a hitch! I would recommend this stop to anyone! Thank you again for being gracious hosts!

We had a great, relaxing stay. our hosts were friendly and gracious, and showed us around and talked farm/operations even though they were busy. Access and parking were easy, and while there was some traffic associated with the operation, it didn’t bother us in the slightest. Would definitely recommend this place!

We came in early November, during a very busy time for the Gerber family. We travel with our 7 kids and the Gerbers invited them to ride along a couple of rounds each in the combine and tractor hauling the grain cart. They offered a tour of their seed operation also. Kind folks and great stop. Thanks again. Parking on gravel near seed plant with easy access in and out.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful property. We met Blair as he was preparing to head to Ouabache State Park with his new trailer and family for the weekend. Very welcoming and pleanty of room to park, nice grassy area we were able to play fetch with our fur baby. We paid for the use of power which worked out well. We stayed 3 nights and were able to visit the state park also. We viewed the bison pen and I climbed the fire tower. We were also able to attend a morning and evening church service. Checked out the clock tower in Berne and visited Amish Country Popcorn. The couple sunsets we got were beautiful. Thanks so much for hosting us we really appreciate your hospitality.
