We live in a residential area which backs on to a pasture. We have space for a small RV (camper van or small trailer) in our driveway. Total length of driveway is 30 feet. You are welcome to hook up to our electricity and water. Note: at this time (Jan/21), we can only accommodate RVs along our side fence. Suggested Local Attractions:Nanaimo Waterfront is gorgeous. Westwood Lake provides a 6 kilometer walking trail. Many beaches to enjoy just 30 minutes away in Parksville area.

Vancouver Island Retirees Details: My husband John and I have been retired for a number of years. On our most recent trip we traveled across Canada and the U.S. and had a wonderful two months of exploration. We live in Nanaimo,BC and look forward to hosting boondockers as we are able. In our former lives, I was a medical secretary and my husband was an industrial accountant. Home Town: Nanaimo, British Columbia Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love traveling on Vancouver Island and throughout BC, but also have had lovely Boondocking experiences on our trip across Canada and the U.S.A. We also enjoy camping in Washington, Oregon, Arizona and the California coast.

Just a wonderful couple and a nice spot on a very quiet road. Not super level, so bring leveling blocks if that's important. They were most welcoming and we enjoyed a bit of chat. The said to just knock if I needed anything.

They were our first ever hosts, and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly, funny and full of advice. Easy to park, good sleep. Thank you. Ils furent nos premiers hôtes et nous ne fûmes pas déçu. Gentils, drôles et plein de conseils. Facile à stationner, calme, nuit reposante. Bruno.

We loved our stay here. Our hosts were very kind, and had good suggestions about what to see and do in beautiful Nanaimo. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first ever Boondockers Welcome experience. We did not know what to expect and therefore had no point of reference. Now that we have some BW experiences I can say that these folks epitomize what BW should be. They are accommodating and helpful...not to mention very nice people!
