This was our first experience boondocking. Due to the July 4th holiday, we thought we’d give it a try. Bought an inverter on the way. Totally forgot we had to flush our water tank out before using on a new rig! So we stayed cool, but no water! I am disabled and immoble and waiting on a hip replacement, and slightly distracted from pain. i THOUGHT i had made our request for the correct nights….. and our hosts seemed a bit surprised when we showed up! But these are seriously the most gracious, sweet people on the planet! All was fine, and they welcomed us graciously! Their site is gorgeous, and very private and safe! Beautiful property! My husband spent quite some time with Mr. Harvey and Ms. Linn, being a fellow veteran and Patriot. I cant wait to go back and spend more time with our new friends! We may not be boondocking, but plan to stay in touch, and highly recommend the honor of getting to know these folks.

Visiting family in town but had no where to park my camper. They were kind enough to let me park it there for the week. They also have a separate area to park if I had planned to stay there that is very nice and private.

Harvey and Lin were great hosts. Very friendly and willing to share their stories. They are also very involved in Quilts of Valor which is an awesome program. Look it up and get involved either by quilting or making a donation. All quilts benefit veterans. Their site was easy to get to and Harvey met me roadside to guide me in. Parking was level and all was quiet at night. I even helped them plant some garden plants which was very therapeutic especially since I’m traveling and will have no garden this year. I would definitely return here if in the area.

Host was excellent, met us and showed us the best place to park. Had a great conversation, this place was perfect for us on our way from Ohio to Florida. Would definitely stay here again.
