We have a beautiful 35 acre farm about 10 minutes from I-65. It use to be a horse farm but we no longer have any livestock due to health reasons. You can park by the house next to our rig (to the right of the Jayco in the pictures) and top off your water tank, or be as secluded as you want and park anywhere on the farm. Water is available to top off tanks, but we don't allow water to be hooked direct to the tap due to the many problems (non rv problems) we have had in the past. We cannot offer an electrical hookup at this time due to the damage our electrical panel has acquired. Suggested Local Attractions:Other than Columbia, TN there is nothing but the view and wildlife here. We are about 1 hour away from both Nashville and Huntsville.

Access Road Conditions: Longer rigs may have a harder time turning into our driveway when coming from the south on our street (please don't take out our mailbox). There is a market 2 miles down the road where you can turn around and turn into our driveway from the other direction. If coming from the south on I-65 do not take exit #32. Go up to exit #37 and come in from that direction. It is only 3 miles longer but you will have no problems turning into our driveway. You will have to park in the grass but our driveway is paved up to the house. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: You can unhook your tow vehicle and park in the grass next to your rig.

We really enjoyed our stay at Painted Dreams Farm. This was our first time using Boondocking and we weren’t sure what to expect. Our host communicated quickly with us, they met us on arrival to help us to a place to park. It was a pretty setting in a field on rolling hills. If you are in the area, stay at Painted Dreams Farm.

Bob/Shannon are very hospitable & accommodating host. The farm is very welcoming for a short stay. It was a valued meet & discussion with Bob who is an experienced DIYer with his own successful Internet video channel. I hope to cross paths with these fine folks in the future.

What a wonderful view from the top of the hill. We saw several deer last night and then in the morning there were two buck deer right in the back yard. Bob was a very gracious host and sent us message about how to come into his farm. He met us as we pulled in helped us get spotted and provided 30 A electric. We weren’t able to spend a lot of time with him as we had a prior commitment. When we returned in the evening he came right over to the rig and we talked awhile. He then took is over to his shop and showed what”Making Stuff” was all about. He is a very talented individual. Unfortunately we weren’t able to meet his wife. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful night stay.
