Outgoing, friendly, love to travel especially in my RV. Details: I enjoy spending time with friends and family, but also enjoying spending quite time alone. Some of my hobbies are hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. I belong to several clubs, for i.e a book club, dinner club, several women's and other rving groups, and a board and card games group. Home Town: From Lafayette, Louisiana, but currently living in Butte La Rose since 1995. Favorite Boondocking Locations: I wouldn't call the following favorites, but I have boondocked overnight in a Flying J parking lot, Walmart parking lot and a few Rest Area parking lots.

This was a stopover request on my way from San Antonio to New Orleans. If you missed the turn into the community (like I did), there is a spot just down the road to turn around. It's where the pavement ends. Also make sure to get oriented when leaving to ensure you don't setup to go down the dead end road (also like I did). The stay itself was awesome! The 50amp hookup is easy to reach, the gravel drive is plenty wide--just make sure to follow directions on which part to park on--and the host is such a sweetheart. I stayed much later in the morning because it was fun to sit and talk on the patio. Definitely will stay again if I'm in the area. Do take advantage of the visitor center when you exit the freeway.

What a great time I had staying here & meeting Captain Jones. Excellent location for my travels and could get my 30ft TT in no problem. 50amp hook-up, but had my 30amp converter and extra extension cord to make it work perfectly. Would love to meet up again and go RVing together!!! Great host! We could talk for hours - and we did. Thanks so much for a great visit!

This Was our first time using Boondocker’s welcome and I can’t imagine having a better host! Miss Carolyn was kind, helpful, fun, and accommodating! We are so happy that we stopped here to meet her and the other friendly people in this area. We cannot wait to go back. I can’t tell you enough how wonderful our stay was. Highly recommended!!!
