We live in a house in Pine Lake, GA. It is a small city with a lake in the center with two short trails on either side. It is a peaceful neighborhood with lots of people walking dogs. A nice stopover on your trip! Suggested Local Attractions:We live close to Decatur, Stone Mountain, and Clarkston. Each of these places offers a different feel. Stone Mountian has several trails and one leading to the top of the mountain. There is a $20 per car charge to enter the park. Decatur has many resturants and is walkable. Clarkston is the most diverse city in the country (per captia), has a large and diverse immigrant and refugee communities, and has tons of food options (the best Chicken Shwarma!). We are about 20 minutes from Atlanta.

Chinook travelers Details: Hello, we are a couple of weekend warrior travelers with a Chinook Concourse. We like to take longer trips out West and North and love meeting new people. We both work from home so it is easy to pick up and go. We have a semi-level place ot park on the street in front of our house. Our neighborhood is very unique and quiet, there is a lake in the center and some short trails through the woods on either side. Home Town: We live in Pine Lake Ga, an artsy little city outside of Atlanta. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have done one big trip through eastern Canada and staying at trail heads along the coast of Nova Scotia and Maine were incredibly beautiful! Skills or Expertise to Share: I work for nonprofits in fundraising and can give guidance on grants. We are rock climbers too!

    Thank you, IreneandBrad for hosting me! They were quick to respond, and helped me park when I arrived. Parking spot is on the street in front of their house, in such a cute little neighborhood with a lake (pond, I think), a little beach area and a playground (although there are currently signs saying that both are closed currently, assuming because of the coronavirus, but I still saw kids playing there), and two short trails. Such a pretty area with cute houses, lots of trees and flowers, and very quiet. The streets are very narrow, which made me a little nervous because I'm a newbie, but was able to navigate fine, phew! :) Thank you again, IreneandBrad!

    Excellent hosts! Stayed on vacant lot next door to owner in beautifully quirky, quiet neighborhood. Excellent location for exploring area (don't miss DeKalb market!) and Stone Mountain. Recommended.
