We are a very private location set at the edge of a state forest in Chester, CT. * Suggested Local Attractions: Located in the Connecticut River Valley with the Connecticut shoreline not far away. The Village of Chester is great for art and restaurants! Hiking right outside your rig in Cockaponset State Forest. There is lots to do and see in "our neck of the woods"! *As more folks are working remotely, we need to caution you that cell service is unreliable here for almost all carriers. Additionally, we have stopped offering WIFI because heavy use by guests blocks our access to the web. We apologize for the inconvenience.

House Rules
Our driveway is long and narrow, so we think it is best if visitors arrive before dark. You can leave for dinner or whatever, but getting the lay of the land before dark is a good idea. Please park parallel to the red garage/barn. As more folks are full-time RVers, we need to caution you that cell service here is spotty at best. We do not offer WIFI. We love pets and suggest that you keep them on leash in the parking area due to increased wildlife in our woods. We have a large fenced in area that you may use for off leash play with advanced arrangements.

Learning about Boondocking, excited to be hosts! Details: We are a married couple, just retired and interested in RVing and travel. We imagine that hosting boondockers would be a great way to learn more. Home Town: Chester, CT Skills or Expertise to Share: While we do not have any specialized hookups, we are willing to share our water through a garden hose and use of electricity through the use of a typical household extension cord. WIFI is also available.

Hosts were very accomadating and responsive. Spot was level enough and VERY quiet. Just the sounds of birds chirping in the morning and the occasional owl hoot at night. If you are using Google maps, make sure you look for the address given. The pin dropped a little ways before the host address for some reason and gave us a little confusion.
