Location
Road Conditions: We are located in a cul-de-sac. RV'ers will need to back up their Rig or Trailer into the driveway. The driveway is a little steep and we recommend casters. This is why we ask that our guest arrive during the day and not at night. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Parking is located on the street.

Our host was very welcoming and accommodating and their location was perfect for visiting Vegas - close enough to be convenient, but far enough away from the congestion of the Strip. Thanks!

Sam met us upon arrival and assisted is in backing into his fenced concrete yard. Our 32 ft RV was a little to long to close the gate, but Samprped the gate securely for us. Met his lovely wife. full hook ups, 15 minutes from the strip. great suggestions about where to park and things to see in the area. Sam is not one to spend time online, so don’t take it personally if he takes some time to respond. These are really sweet people!

Pops and his wife were wonderful hosts and I had a good time there for 4 nights. Note that Pops struggles to understand the HH website and relies on his kids to help him. So he may not respond to your request right away. (I helped him approve 4 requests while I was there.) Request early. His description has been changed to a 25 foot parking space behind the gate (I also did this for him - happy to help out Pops!) They recently bought a small class C so that has taken up some of the space behind the gate. I had a 30 foot class C so we left the gate part way open which I was fine with. I never saw any dogs so they must have been kept in the other yard? I would and will, stay again.

Both property owners were very friendly upon our arrival. Parking is either in front of, or behind, a gate in the driveway beside the house where we encountered two unfriendly dogs (one a pitbull) that apparently stay outside all the time. There was no mention of dogs on their profile which may be because it seems they may not have been there long as we discovered that they belong to the granddaughter. They appeared to be submissive to the property owner so we felt OK with them., The profile lists the driveway as being 40’ (however we discovered it’s about 10-12 feet on the street side of the gate and the balance behind the gate. At 30’ LOA we didn’t quite fit behind the gate so it couldn’t close all the way. The property owner forgot about the dogs getting out but blocked the gate opening after we told him the dogs escaped and we had easily retrieved them. Perhaps the other stays were on the outside of the gate and/or there were no dogs there then, which is why there was no mention of them in any other reviews. These dogs do their business anywhere on the cemented area behind the gate so we had to watch carefully where we walked. The first morning we woke up to find our step carpet was torn off and ripped apart, and the end of our sewer hose chewed to the point of needing replacement. We brought it to the owner’s attention right away. He was very surprised, offered us another sewer hose he had but it didn’t fit our rig. There was no offer at that time to pay to replace the hose and carpet. Nor was there an apology at that time. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights. We left after the first night. We contacted the owner to request compensation for our cost to replace both items. After several days we heard back and he did agree to reimburse us. “Hi there, we are truly sorry for the damage caused by the dogs. It was an honest mistake on our end for not moving the dogs to the opposite side of the yard, away from visitors. A mistake we will not make in the future. We appreciate you allowing us to rectify the issue and we would like to cover the payment you had to make of $70.49. How would you like us to pay? Thank you for your patience. -Pops” We did receive the full reimbursement we requested.
