Snowbird RVers. Love Bluegrass he is a guitar picker, she is watercolour artist. Flyers, old car buff. Retired. Details: We are in our mid seventies. He is a retired heating and air conditioning contractor. She is retired sign shop owner and previously, secretary. We enjoy camping and travelling. We live in the country, close to a city of about 110,000. He is in the process of restoring a Model A car and is a tinkerer of everything. She enjoys watercolour painting. He is a private pilot . We have family in Texas (Houston and Dallas) and spend Christmas with them and sometimes spend the winter there but most winters we spend in Florida. We have an apartment in the basement of our house and most times it is rented and someone is here in case there is a problem. Home Town: Thunder Bay, Ontario Favorite Boondocking Locations: We boondocked our way from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Lodi, California, via a stop in Houston to visit family - 2 winters ago. Had amazing hosts and really enjoyed the trip. We also used Marianne's e books to find out of the way spots for "shunpiking". The accuracy of her directions is perfect. Skills or Expertise to Share: He can fix almost anything. So can she. Today she was bucking rivets on the airplane door. She is the computer guru but still has a lot to learn. Doesn't anyone over 40?

Bill said it best, arrive as strangers leave as friends. Beautiful setting lots to see nearby. The highlight was sitting and chatting at happy hour! We hope they come to visit next time they come south!

We so enjoyed this little oasis nestled in the woods, close to Kakabeka Falls. Coming from the east, we stopped to view the impressive falls first. The directions were accurate as the roads wound their way past many local farms. The hosts were very welcoming, even inviting us to enjoy happy hour with them and their neighbours.

We arrived in the evening when the host was out and they were very communicative with us through the app so that we could help ourselves to the right parking area. Then we were given some advice about what to see on our journey! thanks so much for hosting us!

We had two glorious nights at Posthole Ponderosa. PJ and Bill greeted us upon arrival and were very welcoming. We enjoyed 2 nights of visiting and sharing stories. Bill is an excellent musician and sang some songs for us with PJ's accompaniment. I still have Valdy's Old Dance running through my brain. PJ helped me learn Gas Buddy and that has already proved valuable! Thanks PJ and Bill. We highly recommend this site and these hosts!

We had a lovely short stay on our 1st visit to Canada. PJ & Bill are a friendly pleasant couple. You are in for a treat! They invited us out to the Fort Williaams Male Choir Spaghetti feed. We had such a good time. If you get aa chance to do this you wont be dissapointed. The site was good 👍. If you are a longer rig like us 36', be sure to turn in wide from the road to clear the ditches. Its a little tight but doable with some patience. Thank you again for your hospitality and we hope to visit again!
