Ramble Ranch on the Foothills

Small parking area behind my shed. I have a little over an acre of forest that can be used for quiet walks although it's nothing compared to the adventures you'll find close by. My neighbors have donkeys so don't be alarmed by their laughter. I have two dogs that will bark out of excitement when you first arrive if they are outside but stay in my fenced in back yard that you will not have access to. Access to the Green River Game Lands are across the street from my road for hiking and wilderness. Hunting is allowed in the Green River Game Lands and all information on seasons and regulations can be found on www.ncwildlife.org. Nearby, you can find the Lake Adger Boat Ramp where boating, fishing, and water recreation are a focus. I enjoy putting my kayak in here on the lake, heading west through a series of braided channels to the Green River, and paddling upstream for a bit until deciding to gently float back down. The small historic towns of Saluda NC and Tryon NC are a short 15 minute drive. Hendersonville NC is a 30 minute drive. Larger cities of Asheville NC and Greenville SC are an hour drive. I have plenty of local knowledge on hiking and waterfalls, parks, water recreation, food and restaurants.
