Location

The driveway is large for a neighborhood area. Please park on the pavement next to the grass on the north side of the driveway. Your tow vehicle can park in front of your RV or along the side of it. Please just make sure we can still get our vehicles out of the south garage door and the parking area next to the house.

We're a family of 4 (our boys are ages 4 and 2) plus a standard poodle. In the fall of 2022, we decided to follow our long time dream of traveling with our boys for at least 10 months in our truck camper. We are excited to see the country together and create unforgettable memories!

Laura, Kase and their delightful kids Alton + Theo are delightful, courageous and creative adventurers (and hosts). I toured their Ali-Cab Camper (placed atop their truck), which they lived in for 11 months! As one who travels simply in a cargo van, I was amazed by the efficiency of their rig. The multi-functional design utilizes all the space with practical systems for cooking, eating, sleeping, bathing, and enjoying the outdoors. If you are new to VanLife, spending a night at their place will inspire you! Their home and property is also beautiful, quiet and safe. The kids took me to pick raspberries and Laura told me about a nearby biking/hiking trail. Close to Grand Haven, MI, this HH destination is one you don’t want to miss.

This was a short, sweet and simple stay! Laura and her beautiful family were welcoming and shared their stories from when they were on the road. I loved seeing their badass rig and I am excited for them on their upcoming project of converting an ambulance! The location is flat and I enjoyed taking the bike trail out to the beach.
