retired farmers Details: Since we are retired farmers we, of course, love working outside as much as possible. We worry that the grass is not green enough and the flowers do not bloom long enough. We have set aside a small area in our backyard that will accommodate 2 larger units. Home Town: Our mailing address is Bemidji, MN and we live in the Chippewa National Forest with a new blacktop road at the end of our driveway. Favorite Boondocking Locations: So far we have only camped in the National Forests around us and of course at my sisters. We love her spot. Skills or Expertise to Share: My husband is a jack of all trades having been a farmer his whole life. Or as he would say jack of some trades.

Our stay here was wonderful. The folks here were most accommodating, and invited us to their patio for a nice chat. The site is very level (we didn't even check to see if we needed leveling) and within state forest property. In other words - quiet. If/when we're in the area again, we'll check here first.

First I must apologize for this late reference! Our internet connection was not good the first couple of days out and then I completely forgot to follow up and give the reference! These folks deserved better than that! They were quick to respond to my texts, had a beautiful and easy spot to park our camper, gave excellent directions, and then we chatted into the evening about all sorts of things. They have made extra efforts to arrange the parking area to be friendly to their visitors. This is a beautiful part of the state of MN and these folks are great BW hosts!! Warm regards to them and their future encounters.

We feel like we came as campers and left as good friends! What a beautiful property to call home while visiting the area. Lots of local knowledge to be gathered from the hosts! Would highly recommend!
